KYLIEEEE this has to be one of my favorite videos of yours ever. It’s just so happy and joyful and and nostalgic and makes me feel like I’ve been let in on an Italian inside joke. Your videos have been such a welcome respite for me over the years as I escape from law school studies and studying for the bar exam. Thank you!!! I’ve felt like we’ve been long lost friends ever since I watched one of your videos about three years ago. I’ve only just plucked up the courage to comment now. I hope you and your family enjoy a beautiful summer together. 🥰
My friend attended international high school in Rome. She drove a Fiat there and had such fond memories with friends and that car. When she turned 50, her husband bought her a little Fiat. She loved it!
I'm driving an red Alfa Romeo mito... And it's the best thing that could ever happen to me ❤️😍. Its so beautiful, elegant and gives me every time that awesome feeling of la bellissima Italia 🇮🇹🚙
In reality, red in Italy is not so obvious. Suffice it to say that the main Ferrari color is yellow while the sporty one is Blue / Azure (deriving from the Savoy family). Italian red is just a coincidence, in the 1930s the FIA decided to identify car manufacturers by assigning a color based on nationality. Red has happened to us Italians.
I owned two different Fiats, an 124 Sport Spider (my first car ever in turquoise) and an 850 Spider Fiat convertible (yellow with a black top). Loved them both.
I had a Spider 2000, Red with red interior. A very rare combination. Loved that car. Whenever I remember that car I always ask myself...Why in the heck did I ever sell it?
My son, reaching 56 this coming Tuesday, drives a Fiat 500 & loves it!! Bravo that you & Guido show such enthusiasm for marriage, togetherness and respect for each other and family!! May you all thrive & hopefully avoid the horrible weather plaguing much of Europe. Hugs and caress each other often with passion & gentle love Kylie & Guido!
OK, I believe I should hire Kylie and Guido to buy house, car, and, maybe scooter in Toscana if we can afford this. Kylie, I hope your parents are having super time in Italia. Love the place you and Guido stayed in Portofino for your honeymoon - che vista!
ACTUALLY, after looking at the colors again, the red and dark green stand out better. Oh well... I'm sure that WHICHEVER color YOU pick, wll be just GREAT...🎈🍷😁💖
This takes me back. When I was in my 20’s I had a white Fiat Panda with a double sun roof and all the accessories I could put on it. I loved that car. I used to drive around in it even when I had nowhere to go! Hope your parents enjoy it as much as I did. X
I owned a Fiat like that when I lived in Venezuela for a year and a half. It was a great little car and actually appreciated in value while we had it! I think a yellow color would be fun! I also love your idea of stenciling it!! I’m sure it will be great whatever you decide!! Love to you from Southern California!! 💗
Logistically, I really needed this video as I will need to buy a “beater” for my new life in Napoli. I would adore a panda! Maybe it’ll be worth a trip to Tuscany for a good one! PS so nice to be transported by your gorgeous videos. It’s getting us ready to live in Italy :) happy for you and yours on your newest adventure!
Ma quanto e' affascinato! Your channel is inspiring me and my husband to move to Italy next year. Thank you for the wonderful gift of your art and vision.
The fact is the Panda is one of those cars that have a lot of exposed metal parts in the interior, so, if you go for a different colour for the body, it may clash with the colour inside. It would make the car look cheaper than it need to look in my opinion. I would opt for a respray in the original hue as the previous owner suggested it's also the cheaper solution..
Personally I would leave the colours standard, but it's not my car..., My wife and I owned one like this in the 1980s. Same colour, drove it everywhere. She also owned a bright yellow Cinquecento Sporting.. we drove it from Scotland to Florence one year via Austria, and returned home via Switzerland... Wonderful times... Look after your Panda...x
600: the best car I owned between plenty of models 😃. Nothing stop it I absolutely love it. Nothing stops it and you never change anything on it. The mechanic told me: this engine goes even if you put sand instead of oil 😄
Watching your video's i so much miss Italy. Love the Panda .We have Italian hunting dogs and meet with Italians in the country site and a lot of them have Panda 4 X4 with a dogs kennel on the Panda. I think for your Panda blue stamping will be special and fresh. So nice to have your family around for a longer time.
Great episode, very fun, Just got back from my first visit to Italy, beautiful country. No idea as to the new colors for your car, but totally trust your tastes, have fun
Haha so awesome!! I've noticed a lot of Pandas here in Toscany indeed, and many people love them. 'The fridge' is a great name 😊 Thanks for the great video!
I’m 6’4. I don’t think I’d ever fit in a Fiat. That being said, I wish I could because as your husband (congratulations by the way) said, they are incredibly easy to fix.
It depends on which car.. Not in the old fiat 500 of the 60s for sure, but in a Panda yes.. Im 6.4' too n hv no problems.. Many cars that look huge outside are much smaller inside
this is such a lovely video. it's simple, short but it has it all to show the flavours of living in Italy. It made me feel homesick. thanks for sharing
This is absolutely fascinating Kylie 🧡 I fully understand the nostalgia aspect of this car when I look back at videos and photographs from my childhood all the cars were boxy in the 90s However there is that sense of familiarity warmth and comfort from those memories. In England everybody is obsessed with the mini as it is a British car from the 60s it’s super popular over here even though it’s super duper small (and you can’t fit a car seat for a child in the back if you get a two-door) And everybody has to practically fold themselves in half to enter an exit the vehicle; yet just because of the nostalgia and the sentiment it’s a national treasure 🧡❤️🧡
Cute! Felt very summery, now I want to road trip! Love the little taste of Italian history and pop culture. And the tiles in the cafe are just like the ones you painted for your bathroom!
As an Italian I feel so happy you bought a panda! The panda is so special for us, we all love that big little car. I bought mine 3 months ago and absolutely love it, so fun to drive. And also easy to find replacements. Cheers!
You just bought the best car ever! I learnt to drive in the classic shape Panda back on the 1980s so it was the first car I ever drove. I currently own the latest generation Panda 4x4 and I absolutely love it. I've owned all sorts of cars in between from Fords, to jaguars, Nissan, Mercedes, Renault, Vauxhall, Opel, Daimlers etc etc I can honestly say the Panda is by far the best car I've ever owned. Why? Because it is so fun to drive, so quirky, unique, full of character and it is so practical and very economical. It can be any car you want it to be, a daily commute car, for shopping, weekend adventures, city car, 2nd car, family car etc etc It's just as happy travelling at motorway speeds or across a city, so easy to drive and always able to find a space to park. Edit- as a drone pilot myself, I appreciated the flights across the fields of sunflowers! 😎👍
Bought a Panda...smart decision. It was my first car in 1992. My Fiat Panda was dark-green and with its 1000cc engine petrol fuelled I covered 484.000 km just doing the scheduled maintenance. It was my faithfull companion for fishing, looking for mushrooms and wood and forest wandering...it's perfect for travelling in Tuscan countryside. Panda...how many memories...😍
For my late husband's villa in Sicily, my sister in law would take her Fiat Panda with her all the way from Milan where we all resided, as to be used it in the rough and tumble dirt road of Sicily where their little village situated. Hot, dusty and congested lol
I really enjoy the people you introduce us to in your videos. I’m very introverted and would not be able to just start chatting with a stranger but you have such beauty and charm that they all want to talk with you and share about themselves. Rodolfo was lovely, as are so many of the people you share with us. Thank you.
You look happier than ever, Kylie. My bid for the color of the car should be… two tone for whatever life brings you in the coming. It will always fit into the scenery and look good on video. And you can resell it quickly if opportunity arises!
A used Fiat Panda is the perfect economic choice for knocking about on farm roads and small rural two-laners. Word of warning: we once rented a Fiat Panda to drive from Perugia to Bologna & points north on the A1. We discovered that our little Panda was seriously under-powered while climbing up the grade north of Firenze. Italians have a habit of driving right up to your bumper if you go too slow on the autostrada, even in the slow lane. Perhaps our model had the least powerful engine… It’s just not the best for autostradas in mountainous areas. That said, you often see farmers, hunters and skiers driving Panda 4x4s in the Dolomites and the mountains ringing Lago di Como. Guido is right that they are pretty “bomb proof” cars that are easy to maintain. As for colors: while I like the classic red and hunter green colors, it gets so hot in Tuscany in the summer that you might be better off choosing a light color that will stay cooler on hot summer days - an especially important consideration if your used Pandino doesn’t have air conditioning. I’ve seen both old and new Fiat Cinquecentos is a pleasing light cream color that you might want to consider. Just a thought … You’re so lucky to have your parents able to spend so much time with you. I can just picture your parents cruising the country lanes in your little Panda. It brings a smile to my face. 😃😃
I know this will sound boy racerish, but all engines from the FIRE family of engines can be swapped into the Fiat Panda, seeing that they are already starting with a 1.1, it would be super easy to swap a 1.2 from a Fiat Punto 75 or even a 1.2 16v from a Punto 16V, imagine 700 kgs with around 80 horsepower, you will never have problems going up hills again :)
Love that your channel appeared in my feed 3 weeks ago. I've been binge watching ever since. So inspiring; like mini movies! I live in Southwest Florida and dream of moving to Italy. Thank you for being so open about all the details involved in making those dreams come true. Very happy about your marriage to Guido. You both are so in love. It's beautiful. Love it! Thank you! I'm probably too late, but I vote for a smoke blue Panda; it will compliment the color of your house.
Many years ago (last century ;) )my mother use to rent a Fiat Panda for special occasions, because she could not afford to buy a car. The Panda reminds me of happy times. Thank you for this fun and happy video!
This brings back memories, my first car at 18 was a pale blue Fiat, which we called ‘torty’ because it looked just like a little tortoise. It was so cheap to run and went on forever. Love the Panda, happy miles and happy exploring. I think two tones, cream and racing green
I am living for the fun 80s vibes!!! And the electronic music is so fun and really brings you back... I enjoy all your videos and the unique perspectives you share with us... I love the idea of a classic vintage tone for the panda
Hello dear Kylie! As a painter who used to live in France and painted the hood of my friend’s car(in France), I can say he was very happy with it. Since I was painting illuminated manuscripts, at the time, the hood was a big griffon with leaves around. Your stenciling can be subtle and beautiful. Or else a solid color: robin’s egg blue. Thank you for being who you are.
Your artful and professional way of doing the photography is absolutely beautiful. I just love watching your videos. Vintage green or something more funky like your blue and white tile for the Panda!
That is the cutest car EVER!! Paint it a a shiny, tomato RED - then it could be The Flying Tomato!! 🍅🚗 Or I always default to blue or hunter green. Stay classic. ❤️
I just love you Kylie! I suffer from bipolar and bouts of depression. I discovered your videos about 2 months ago and let me just say, your beauty and your relationship with Guido has helped me so much. Congratulations to you both on your beautiful wedding! I simply adore you!!❤️❤️❤️
What a fun thing to do!!!! Can't wait to see the new design! I love the retro colours, but I am sure the stencils or intricate painting would be great too!
I love the old cars- they have such character and solidity. Good luck in your selection of colour- a nice retro shade in one of the colours the panda was released in- sounds good to me. But you have this- it will be special, whatever you choose. 🕊💕
Not sure if in Italy it is the same as here in PT 🇵🇹 but if you change your car color, you have to re-register it!! Needless to say, very few change car colors. Great video. 🤗
Love Guidos choices in his colors of pants. Recall that Back in 80’s I bought a beautiful pair of green gabardine pants in Parma. I would love a cherry red color for the Panda.
Oh what fun! This is marvelous! I am barely 5 foot and love my little red Fiat! My husband is 6'6" though. He folds up, climbs in and off we go! I have to say that I really, really, really wanted a Fiat but because we have four kids, I drove a mini van. Drove her for 16 years. When she finally conked out on me, a pre-owned Fiat 500x happened to be on the car lot. It was the only one, with no dealership closer than two hours away! I say that God brought her to south Arkansas just for me! Only one kiddo left at home and my Fiat will soon be hers. We are going up to a larger ride so my hubby can be more comfortable. I am gonna miss her! Thanks for this video! I just loved it!
Thye made so many versions of this car, even a 4x4 jeep version with huge offroad wheels, there was even a version for the military. Tho whole philosophy behind this car was being cheap, functional, reliable and easy to fix. I had that car and the latest versions before the new model had one airbag. Such nostalgia, so fun to drive.
KYLIEEEE this has to be one of my favorite videos of yours ever. It’s just so happy and joyful and and nostalgic and makes me feel like I’ve been let in on an Italian inside joke.

What a beautiful message!
My friend attended international high school in Rome. She drove a Fiat there and had such fond memories with friends and that car. When she turned 50, her husband bought her a little Fiat. She loved it!
Your life isn’t a dream. It’s a masterpiece. And you are the artist. You deserve a beautiful one.
It’s so cute that Guido got the car because he was the most handsome! I agree with her. As far as color, I would choose the red fiat color.
fun fact: in italian guido means i drive
This guy Rodolfo made my day !
I would choose red. I owned a red Spider when I lived in Sicily. It was fantastic.
Brava Tracey, complimenti
I love that she chose Guido perché è bellissimo but added "in every sense." I like her.
The rich dark green color would make the Panda look fresher.
I'm driving an red Alfa Romeo mito... And it's the best thing that could ever happen to me ❤️😍. Its so beautiful, elegant and gives me every time that awesome feeling of la bellissima Italia 🇮🇹🚙
Great choice :)
In my opinioni the Fiat Panda is a design masterpiece and must be treated as such, maintaining its original color.
Good future, guys.
We love old type Panda! It is a design piece, too. We call it "mini tractor" because it goes everywhere and is reliable.
Any Italian car has to be a deep Italian red!
That was the color of italian racing cars in the past but Panda could be everything but a racing car. 😄
I had a red Vespa 300
@@paulcapaccio9905 Cool scooter.

Ah! I learned something new. I love learning about random fun stuff like this! I am excited to see what color you paint it!
I think a beautiful olive/ vintage green would be so perfect for the new Panda! Loved this episode. I was smiling through the entire 10 mins!
I was smiling too.....and the 80's music was so spot on and daring. Totally fun!
I love the idea of vintage tones for the Panda. Have fun with it!!
I love that cranberry color!! These are so darling….they make me smile like The Jolly cars in the USA
Such a fun video of you and Guido enjoying the simple things ❤️

A nice vintage yellow. Then you can call it ‘Buttercup’.
^^^ BUTTERCUP^^^
Oh yes I’ve always wanted a vintage yellow or beige car!
In the states, anytime we see a *yellow* car, we typically call it THE YELLOW SUBMARINE!

I fully understand the nostalgia aspect of this car when I look back at videos and photographs from my childhood all the cars were boxy in the 90s
However there is that sense of familiarity warmth and comfort from those memories.
In England everybody is obsessed with the mini as it is a British car from the 60s it’s super popular over here even though it’s super duper small (and you can’t fit a car seat for a child in the back if you get a two-door)
And everybody has to practically fold themselves in half to enter an exit the vehicle; yet just because of the nostalgia and the sentiment it’s a national treasure 🧡❤️🧡

So fun! I love the idea of vintage two tone for the car like surfer vans, but with detailing you may add stenciling too.
Hey Kylie and Guido! Awesome video, so fun! Your parents are never going to leave! Paint it Red! Love you guys! Love from Boston.
I love the vintage red. Great video the signore was a great addition. Thanks.
I like white for a car. Hope it comes out good whatever color you choose.🙂😄
Since it is a "classic", it needs some attention. How about yellow or red?
I love the old cars- they have such character and solidity. Good luck in your selection of colour- a nice retro shade in one of the colours the panda was released in- sounds good to me. But you have this- it will be special, whatever you choose. 🕊💕
I love the vintage color red and black! We just restored a 1965 mustang, so much fun bringing the old back to new. Enjoy!
What a fun episode Kylie! I love the music- perfect choice!
I like the light blue it’s so happy and elegant like you guys!!!
I like the tile idea but for safety red….stencil over red would be beautiful! Coming to Italy in September…..thanks for all of your beautiful videos!
Great video, as usual. Sky blue would be lovely! But I would love to see the technique you used on your tiles too!
