I never will understand why they are leaving dogs chained in such remote places What are they thinking the dog can guard in such conditions? No proper shelter, no proper water, no proper food, no proper care and of course no proper love

Some change is coming, finally! People on a walk in this weather saw the dog and called Takis. This happens more and more where in the past people just looked the other way and let the dog suffer.
Because Takis loves with all his heart he drove a long dangerous route to rescue this neglected puppy. This baby is so trusting and friendly and wanted to leave immediately. He will make a beautiful family member. ♥️

People who do this must be crazy. My little dog sleeps with me in my bed and he loves meat and eggs with me in the morning. I love his companionship so much and we are best friends !! I get kisses from him all day ! Ha -ha ! I live alone and he is my whole life . His name is Jasper and he is a beautiful healthy dog with a lot of energy and happiness.

It is not the first case. I was witness to so many situations like this. It seems to be a habit of the population in Creta. The big fortune is with Takis and another 4 shelters that use to work for saving these dogs. I could not figure out why somebody has chained a dog in such remote location. To do what??? Police is not involved in such obvious case of cruelty.
@@VSP4591 You are wrong, the police IS involved in every case where a dog is freed from a chain. And the person who chained the shepherd will be punished as it is the second time. It is not the job of Takis to do this and he can only express his feelings about the law and the way it is enforced. By the way, there are at least 7 other shelters in Crete plus the municipal shelter: Jutta Shelter, George Stray Dogs, Bronx Familia Animal Shelter, Gouves Animal Shelter, Hectors House, Strays of my Soul and the Souda Shelter Project.
@@skippynoah Ok, fine, my mistake. There are 7 not 5 shelters. That means the population of Creta is accustomed to chain the dogs in the mountains and leave them to die. Why is that??? Is there a satanic cult?? There are too many cases of chained dogs is far away locations!!! I have seen very bad images with dogs in slaughter houses in Cambodgia, Vietnam or China but here we are in Europe. We do not eat dogs or bats.
@@VSP4591 nobody but the people who chain dogs can answer that question. Hunting dogs are of no use out of the hunting season and get abandoned or are locked on a chain for the rest of the year. Although horrible i understand that. But these dogs are no hunting dogs. So i don’t have a clue.

A metal house with no bedding in the dead of winter - that provided nothing but a very cold surface to lay. That sweet boy was so excited when you drove up - he probably couldn't believe his eyes - someone is here for me....YAY! He is going to get the love and care he deserves from here on it. So glad you got him!

As you can see there are marks from other cars in the snow BUT nobody helped the dogs ! 😡 at least someone called Takis 👍 so thin this poor black dog ... no food around 😢 he would not had survived very long without your help ... thank you so much 🙏 please call the police !
I agree with you, someone here in the comments was so impressed it was a Ski Resort in Crete and I am saying to myself, wow another situation where people with money don't care about innocent lives. To busy Skiing, I guess. So shameful because this is really really far up, so who the heck left this dog right?

@@aimwilliamson6609 there is no ski-resort. The mountains and snow are good enough for a ski holiday but the station closed a few years ago. The road is used by shepherds and farmers. And obviously too by kind people who were walking or hiking there and saw the dog and called Takis.

@@0815yx Ich glaube beides.Es liegt auch viel an der Mentalität in den südlichen und östlichen Länder.Es bedarf noch viel Aufklärung und die Bereitschaft zur Kastrationen in den Ländern.Auch hier in Deutschland gibt es sehr viele Streunerkatzen.Es sollte eine Kastration -Pflicht geben.Die Tierheime sind voll von Katzenschwemme und dann kommt noch der Welpenhandel dazu. Es ist inzwischen eine traurige Welt.🐾🐾🐾

@@0815yx Ich habe und hatte auch schon einige Tiere aus den Tierheimen : Hund,Hasen und Rennmäuse.Jetzt habe ich eine Hündin aus Ungarn aus dem Kasseler Tierheim.Sie war da schon fast 4Jahre alt,und ich war die einzige Interessentin.Sie ist schwarz und hatte schon damals ein graues Schnäuzchen .Inzwischen ist Sie 11Jahre alt ,und ich hoffe wir dürfen noch lange zusammen bleiben. 🐾🐾🐾
