Wellington to Auckland by train in 43 minutes

Timelapse of Kiwirail's Northern Explorer train running from the Capital to Auckland. This is a longer version of the video I uploaded two years ago. Slightly faster than Slow TV!

Thanks heaps for the four drivers who took my camera along for the ride, especially the kind driver who posted it back to me! The train stopped at Marton for half an hour due to downed overhead - that was edited out.
