Abandoned 5 Star Hotel Resort Sand Castle in Sosua, Dominican Republic .

The Sand Castle Hotel, whose ruins are located in the Puerto Chiquito sector, in the municipality of Sosúa, was inaugurated in 1988 with a tremendous international artistic show where Latoya Jackson (the sister of the late artist Michael Jackson) was presented.
This was the first all inclusive resort in the Caribbean.

I was their first customer when they opened. I got to spend time with the Miss Dominican Republic contestants that were bussed in for a photo shoot in the Discotec.
All the rooms were lined with mahogany trim and doors and really gorgeous. Too bad you didn't make it downstairs to the 5 star restaurant with the mirror tree.
