SotN IS rather pretty, intricate pixel art has that type of effect I guess. The only other Castlevania game that matches this prettiness is Order of Ecclesia in my opinion, and it’s only in some parts.
The art direction of this game is timeless and hasn't been topped by any other castlevania imho
Yep it’s one game from the 32bit generation that still looks amazing even in 2024. That and the epic music. Love this game!

How do you take so little damage? At level 71 the Guardian does 104 damage to me, but severely under levelled and under equipped you take 1 damage.
Leg days I frames take the fun away because enemies no longer pose a threat

It's part of the leg day rando (infinite jumping + super long back dash with i-frames)

(you probably can't have that, like I don't know if you need to unlock the Inverted Castle the normal way)
For the algo
Wait, spike breaker location had mist, but then spike breaker was transformation locked, and this preset doesn't have wolf or bat? What was the intended way to get to mist then?
The room was already lit up, so you only need Spike Breaker+extra height gain(Leap Stone or Gravity Boots) this time.
It's also never locked by transformation like Olrox/Akmodan is, but specifically Bat+Echo combo is needed for the casual player to figure out the way through the dark. Without the darkness, just Spike Breaker+Leap Stone or just freeform flight(really just Bat or Leg Day Leap Stone).
@@SyRose901 right, but spike breaker was behind olrox right? Which is transformation locked, and if bat and wolf are disabled, then the only transformation (mist), was locked behind needing spike breaker.
