I bought the Regal Resonator to get some experience with playing Slide Guitar. I don't know the year when it was built. Maybe in the 90's because of the older Headstockdesign. After I played it for a while with the standard cone, I changed the cone for a Beard Cone. It really helped the sound of the guitar.

Hello. Thank you! The guitar didn't have a spider bridge. It had a biscuit cone. I didn't change any other parts. I got it when it was used. I don't know if anyone had still changed other parts, but i think the rest of the parts were original.

What is the secret to getting the scratching sounds out of your bass strings? Beautifully played, BTW

Thank you! I am not sure what you mean. There are some sound problems with my video editor (cyberlink powerdirector) . After rendering the videos there can be some slight distortions only at several browsers. I couldn`t fix that problem until now. :-( . In fact: if there is a scratching sound it is not generated intentionally.
