@@FynnFolf Luckily Great America received 2 coasters that are actually extremely good in 2014 and 2019. Hopefully more and more good stuff keeps getting added to other parks

Nope
They'll smooth over the joints so you can't feel them... I imagine Wonder Woman and RailBlazer have them too and I don't believe you can feel them.
@sonyipod - @CrashCoaster is correct! You can see the worker grinding the shim. It will be flush with the rest of the track.
Raptors wheels also run on the sides of the mororail so they'll clear the shims. RMC wouldn't design their coaster track to do damage to their train wheels like that.

RMC is very smooth
Not only because it's RMC but they have to do about 1,000 cycles of testing before it can even open for the public. During testing if there are rough spots they will grind it down smooth like they have been doing on the velociscoaster in FL

Imagine for theming they put a house as the station or to walk through with the devil being born and devouring everyone, and then the girl jumping into the lake. I may be asking for a bit too much, it's six flags.
