This process has been taking me more than 4 hours…. Idk how to remove this thing man. Been pressing it but the bottoms hooks won’t release

Exactly how hard do I have to push on the retainer spring? I pushed it in with maybe ten pounds of force but it doesn't release. I'm afraid to push it too hard and break something.

Once you’ve placed tool on the spring and start to push, you should notice that the steering wheel airbag pops out. If you are pressing hard and nothing is happening, then you need to feel for the spring
