Thank you for the review and glad to see you back on the attack. I agree it is important to review all equipment - especially a recommended (or what to look for) in a listening place. Maybe if audiophiles had a comfortable place to sit we wouldn't be so bitter and cranky.
The arm rests look absolutely rock hard elbow smashing the white beading looks ridiculous 😳 sorry mate ... It looks uncomfortable as he'll I own a Lazy_boy with 7 your features the chair 💺 doesn't have.
It’s disgusting that they force you to buy 2 god damn chairs. The price is actually pretty reasonable , any quality built furniture is gonna run you that about . But the difference is when you buy a queen size from bobs furniture he obligate you to buy 2. This company is a scam and if much rather do my business with shady market place and Craigslist deals then these monsters . So happy you got sent a free 1 good for you 😊
I wouldn't go so far as to say they are a scam, but I can completely understand your frustration. I was well into my review when I discovered you need to buy a pair. They do sell single recliners, but that's also not what they sent for review. Disappointing to say the least.
Nice accessory review. Probably less arguments than cables! Although there are bound to be the Eames fanboys! 🙂Always a top choice for a stand alone listening chair. Particularly appropriate because we do so much solo listening. One other I did stumble across is the Lobster Audio chair. I've seen them from around $7k tops to under $700 in qty from Alibaba. Depending on your height, the slight wrap around at the top is more shoulder level than ear level. Like the Eames but even less intrusive. And it also comes with an ottoman. None of these would pass WAF here however.
There were a few to quickly mention the Eames, yes. Personally I think just about any lower backed comfortable recliner would do, but I did enjoy the challenge of trying to review furniture. Something I never thought I'd say OR do.
@@thevinylattack FWIW I currently use a sofa and sit semi-lotus for most of my listening sessions. Though I find my feet not making floor contact losses some of the bass effect.
@@thevinylattack don't get me wrong I love your channel I did watch the Milty zero static gun but I would say thank you to show us on the video to use it properly
@@turntableman100 No worries. I'm not here to try and sell you a chair. I get no kickbacks from it and I'm not a salesman. I just try to keep an eye out for different items to review to keep the content coming.

It’s really hard to beat the Herman Miller Eames lounge chair and foot rest. Sure it’s pricey at just over 6k, but it is a heirloom piece. I don’t think I would ever spend that much for a chair, but once you sit in one you’ll know why. It is the focal point of my listening room.
If I were to buy a chair for $2,200 never mind two of them, I would might as well buy myself a coffin as well.
You could use the shiny piano black arms as accents...
It's not that difficult to make your own coffin from pine planks, some glue and nails. Be Prepared, as they say in Scouting!
I made it through the video because I like your channel not because I want a chair I already have a good one thanks for the video
Thank you for sticking it out all the way through. I'm certain many (if not most) people dropped off after they heard the price, lol.
The chair was also highly rated by the cat over at the Animal Planet channel.
I believe it.
Good to see you back, Chris! Chair looks cool (as does the CH33 tee). Cheers man!
Thanks, Frank. I'm trying to get back in the swing of things. I figure, I might as well look good doing it.
Which do you like more between this Elegance and the more elaborate Prestige? I think this looks clean and classy.

I own a Lazy_boy with 7 your features the chair 💺 doesn't have.
It's an incredibly comfortable chair, but I also didn't pick it out so I'm not really bothered by other chairs' features.

It may be too soon but just wanted to send my condolences. At least the other guys lost. Chin up. You'll get 'em next year. 🙂
Hey, we beast OSU (who also lost) AND we took home the Big Ten championship. There's nothing to be ashamed of here.
Your lucky your cat sleeps on your chair my cat sleeps on my Vitus Mono Power Amp 🙀
Yikes!
Good to see you have legs. Great review.
Nice. And I agree that what we sit on is important. A pair just wouldn't work for me though. But still nice. Good job
I wouldn't haven been able to accommodate a pair myself.
The requirement to order two of these, as a default, is going to need to change. That's ridiculous lol.
I'm actually trying to make that happen. I think their sales would improve a good amount if you could just buy the one.
@@thevinylattack Agreed, my dude.
Just buy normal chair right ? Is cheaper that way audiophiles are becoming strange with the tweaks 🤔 you ask me right?
Certainly a viable solution.

Happy to help.
Hard arms, and black plastic.
They're not plastic, but they are hard. I thought they'd be uncomfortable, but the oddly weren't.
Hate the hard armrest.
I thought I would too but with the ergonomics of the chair, it wasn't really an issue.
Great video!
Thank you.
So, a 4400$ ! minimum!
WOW, I'll get a divorce lawyer for less
I hear ya.

I've never had the opportunity to sit in one, but I'd sure like to give it a shot at some point.
The hard arms on the chair are immediate disqualifiers for me. It's impossible for hard arms to be comfortable for long term listening.
I can tell you it's not impossible. I didn't think I'd like them, but they way the chair sits it's pretty much a non-issue.
That cup holder would collect a lot of change.
I was too worried about scratching it for that.
