The reason Curtis is viewed as his worst is he competing against himself. GRODT and Massacre are classics. As great as Jay z is he never moved as many people to a single album like GRODT did. If 50 does events like 40 day and gives back to the community he will stay on top,
You do know that Jay-Z's albums Reasonable Doubt and Blueprint both changed the way hip-hop sounded for years to come, right? They both "moved" the entire industry, which I would say is a good amount of people.
50 said I Get Money the last Hip-Hop single without a R&B chorus, what about D.O.A., 3 A.M., Beautiful, When the Money Goes, Death Wish, these just off the top, I'm sure 10-20 more if I look at my music library
now this is what real rappers do! all young moula does is brag and brag about hoiw much money they have and 50 here with his millions giving other people a better time i respect that
saying that Jay-Z stole Jaz-O's style is really only a relevant statement for the first part of Jay's career the pre-Reasonable Doubt days, which is when Jay may have elaborated on the style of Jaz-O. However you can tell that in Reasonable Doubt he drops the fast multi-syllabic rhyming and takes it to an equally tight but new direction. Now stop dropping the N's all over the place. I think I know what you're trying to abbreviate with it, but that doesnt help your argument. Get it together man
Dude I needed like a land rover to get over that shit. Read before you post. Illmatic definitely did change the game, but Reasonable Doubt also did by expanding on the mafiaso genre, he brought an unique emotion sense to it which artists are still trying to emulate today. Blueprint is simple, it brought that soul sampling sound of Kanye West and Just Blaze into hip-hop. That's the truth. So why don't you listen to some music and know your shit next time you tell someone to "hut the fuck up."
Dude first of all why the hell do you have capital N's just chilling in all of your comments, get your shit together when you type. Secondly, I know that Rae and Ghost came first, and then Nas with it was written and then AZ with Doe or Die, however when I said that Jay expanded on the genre, interestingly enough I actually meant he expanded on it. This means he brought new elements to it, further solidified it, and added on to it. Though Rae's came before, Jay's became the quintessential one.
lol, i couldn't stop laughing comparing 50 to eminem. Eminem wear a dress he can get away with it. 50 wear a dress, done, finished career. hahaha truth.
Or he's racist, and has repeatedly stated so through his gay lyrics. He's the typical African American that think something is owe'd to him. 50 Cent on the other hand, enjoys his fame, and doesn't gripe about something that ended in the USA a little over 100 years ago.
50 comes across as real likeable in this interview.
