I'm on my second watch and taking notes this time! This is exactly where I'm at trying to scale. I was trying to list 6 a day consistently and build a bank but, as it's a new habit, I've been struggling to add to the bank AND do the 6 a day. I'm going to scale back my actual listings as you suggest, that way I can build my bank up properly and have something to fall back on if need be. I'm not selling 1 a day consistently yet, so hopefully this will help. Very useful, thank you!

Very helpful. Am listing 3 per day. Have 71 active listings and inventory. Am trying to get my lighting/photo booth working better. Sales are starting to pick up 2-4 per week. I think I can! I think I can!

I was in a Facebook group where someone recommended your channel. This is the first vid I watched and it validated what I have begun doing. I am that person you describe, list 2 items a day with 150-200 items. I felt this was a good strategy and to have you explain how growth happens from an experience POV is great. I am still working full time but will retire this time next year. By then I hope to be able to supplement my income so I don't have to worry and can put back funds for travel or emergencies. It is good to know I am on the right track.

This was really helpful, especially when you explained the reason not to list a lot every day and just do it small but consistently. I’ve not long been doing this on eBay and I love your videos. Thanks so much.

Something like this is also good for people like me that still have a limit on how much money they can put to sourcing. So if you can't source every day something like this is good you can get a bulk by for a good price but you can't source for a week so taking that bulk buy and picking items out 1, 2, or 3 at a time every day is a really good idea to keep sourcing but keeps you within your means.

I was the list 20, list 5, list 14, per day person with the results you spoke of--1 sale, no sales, two sales etc. Going to go back to square 1 and start the 2 a day process with the reserve bank forward.

Cannot stress how important that draft bank is. I was listing 3 a day, started to go full time and jumped to 20 listings 4 days a week, 10 going live every day. The theory was good, that I could slowly build up that bank. But then a parent was in the hospital for 2 weeks and needed a fair amount of care at home after. That care would be just me. lol I was doing really well but anything can happen. Now back to 3 a day, usually selling 3 a day, and building that bank up pronto. Plan to be up to 5 a day by the end of the month and stop there for awhile. I'm sourcing better so ASP is better, leaving all the $20 crap behind. Lost 20% of sales from March to April, now slowly bringing that back up.

You made a good point at the end of the video about selling similar things so eBay knows what customers to send to you. I’m currently an “everything” seller. So I don’t know how that will impact me in these early stages. I only started 2 days ago and have 7 listings up. Lol, I’m just a baby!

I started few months ago part time. April is a first full time month of selling. I do 5 listings a day and so far I have 2 sales/day. The problem is I sell everything and like you mentioned, I have really good items but very low traffic/views etc.
Can you grow with selling everything or focus on one category ASAP?
    Many thanks.

Great video. You are being very specific. Are there specific listing jumps you would recommend? 2 to 4, then 4 to ? Right now I am listing and selling 7 but I'm still going to do what you are saying because I'm feeling stalled. I have no draft bank. Thinking I should put 140 in the draft and then go to 10 per day until I catch up to that in sales. Do you think this will cause slower growth than listing twice as many as you are selling?

Could you please give me an answer to a question? If a store has $435,000 of inventory in it according to ebay and the seller does $365,000 in sales per year and makes $73,000 profit is that good or bad? Would the clothing business make way more profit than the business example I used? The seller only does 4,500 packages per year which averages $16 per box profit. You really know numbers better than anyone so I hope you can tell me if good or bad. The business can scale fairly easy.

what is your system for what you do with the stuff that you have future listings ready for but not listed yet. do you have a section in your warehouse etc that you stack up all the stuff that will be listed soon but isn't yet or do you go hang it on the racks assuming it will be listed soon?
