    I was at this game! The entire game from beginning to end we were yelling as loud as we could. I could not hear my own voice and I was yelling and cheering as loud as I could the entire game. We were the loudest crowd ever. Jazz win in a blowout. For those who say fans are not part of the team, that is 100% INCORRECT. The fans are 100% a determining factor in helping a team win and are the 6th player on the court. THANK YOU for uploading this.

    I remember this game well. The Jazz came out flaming hot riding the momentum they grabbed from the stunning win against the Sonics in Seattle. The crowd heavily behind them, and the Sonics folded early. Great series!

    Thank you for sharing, as always.
    Guess back in the 90s, it is a thing to still keep the starters playing having a 25-plus lead with 5 minutes remaining.
    Or it's a statement thing heading to G7.
    Nowadays, or at least what I'm seeing in Spurs games in the TD era, Pop let the second crew finish it to let starters save their another best for the next game.
    Sadly, Utah fell short, highlighted by Malone's missed critical FTs.

    Sonics were up 3-1 and Jazz tied the series. Malone was great but fell short. Stock and Jeff were bad against Gary and Hersey. Always prefered Hersey instead of Hornacek. Hersey was far better defender and almost as good shooter

    if the Jazz beat the Sonics and made it to the NBA Finals that year they would have three peated in losses against Jordan's Bulls LOL

    • @Melbester9
      @Melbester9 8 месяцев назад +1

      Yup that's why I'm glad the Jazz lost in 96. The only thing that bothered me from Bulls 2nd 3peat was seeing Jazz back to back.
      Rockets should have beat them in 97 WCF but their game 6 collapse at end of game for Stockton to torch them with game winner.
      We didn't get the Jordan Hakeem Finals matchup that everyone wanted. At least Sonics. Rockets, Jazz Finals for Bulls is better than 3 straight Jazz and 2 Jazz. Every year a different West team in Finals like the Bulls 1st 3 peat.

      @Skazellino A two-star Utah team beat Houston's 1997 Superteam. Not sure why there's so much rhetoric for that team Rockets team being "better" as a Finals matchup, especially as 1) Malone and Jordan were the league's two MVPs for nearly half a decade (1996, 1997, 1998, 1999) and 2) Utah and Chicago played a series in 1997 that was decided by a combined 4 points (0.6 PPG), with 4 out of 6 games coming down to the buzzer (in 1998, Utah and Chicago played in 5 out of 6 Finals games that came down to the final seconds).
