Another incredible Chicago information film!!! I’m not that far but I don’t know much, so watching these movies makes me want to get there ASAP and explore this incredible city!! You two ROCK the YT game!! So excellent! Thank you again!
I am watching this in 2024! Haha just moved to Chicago/Uptown and the Lawrence Avenue stop on the red line is currently closed for those watching in 2024. Thanks for making this video! Again I’m new to the area so its cool to get some ideas of places to visit! Love this! 👏🏾👏🏾💙
Thank you so much for posting. I lived in the Uptown/Edgewater area for 18 yrs and moved to the suburbs about 3 yrs ago. Watching this was so nostalgic for me and you hit some of my old hangouts. I absolutely loved watching this 👍🏼
We were just in uptown for a show at the Aragon and I absolutely love that theater! We also spent Friday night in Chinatown and you are the first one who encouraged me to go there and every time I go I love it more and find something new. I finally got to go to the underground food court and it did not disappoint. Keep it up you guys! I love your neighborhood guides!
Luis, Thank you so much for making all of these great videos about such a beautiful city. Your upbeat attitude really does make you the person to showcase all the city has to do! Feels like you're talking w a local! Thanks!
love the videos man, giving me so many new things to explore in Chicago! Would love to see you do a video on Rogers Park sometime in the future, love our nice little neighborhood in the north
Yes many Native Americans and Appalachian folks came to Uptown so my family from The South, but ancestry is Choctaw settled in Uptown. The original American Indian Center was in Uptown before moving to Albany Park.
Carol's Pub at Clark and Leland was opened for that Appalachian diaspora and still has some of the best country/western and folk acts to come through the city.
I just moved here about 2 years ago from Edison Park and it is a nice area it's just by the Wilson Red line at Wilson and Broadway there can be some sketchy folks there. But nobody bothers you really.
Idk if you already do because I’m new 2 da channel, but can you go into our black neighborhoods! Get into our dances, I know it’s late notice but check out the bud billiken parade! And try Luella’s and get into Chicago black history! Please 🙏🏾
“How quickly an urban neighborhood can change-something we should keep in my for modern times.” Right on.
Definitely one of my favorite neighborhoods in Chicago
Wow I can’t believe the Aragon still stands. Great dances back in the days. Woof
OMG! My Aunt's used to go Ballroom dancing at the Aragon Ballroom way back when!

Amazing video! The super rare Egyptian revival architecture- Which building is that exactly?
