From the HBO perspective - this is spot on. Great analysis, Max. And your prediction seems right. The only thing I question is that blue flame when his parts were burnt. It makes me wonder if he isn't somehow going to be burnt by Viserion's breath.

Great video. I think the Lord Of Light is Brandon Stark. This is how I think everything is connected to Brandon Stark. TThe war had happened and the north were not prepared for it but bran was able to wag into the past and recruited the Three eyed Raven he later met. The three eyed raven told him he has come to recover what he had lost. So Brandon needed dragons so he appeared to the founder of the lord of Light through fire and so started the religion. He saw Dany walk into hot water unhurt so he got the red priestests give Dany the 3 dragon eggs. Also arranged the marriage between Drogo and Dany. Started the Brotherhood without banners. and I believe somehow setup the darewolves scene. Also got the Mad king to make wild fire and burn down the city with it because the Night king will fly South and turn the entire population of Kingslanding into Wights.

Dear Lord Varys blamed sorcery, but could not anticipate to die by Dragon-Odem aka fire from another source. Best acting in the entire #GoT that spymaster.
Are you all mad? Dany and Jon are in love and Dany is most likely already carrying his child. So no matter who deserves the crown more, it's pretty much a given that they will both rule and they have already produced an heir to inherit it from them.
Her destiny was to bring the army and the dragons along with Jon. John rules as king, they marry to stabilize the kingdoms. She didn’t see it. Was this aegons dream, that visarys was talking about in House of dragon ?
Which makes no sense because just last episode Tyrion spoke to Jon about becoming King and Jon turn him down as well. So why does Varys get burned and Tyrion walk? Yes, yes, I know in last season Danni made Varys swear to never plot behind her back, but Tyrion did? So when does Tyrion, a counselor who's counsel is taken less and less often by the Queen he serves, still alive?
Daenerys Targaryen is not the best for the realm, she is a villain. The only reason she has all this power is because the show runners obviously favor her and want her to win. They already messed up the show, the books are way better. Even though I don't really like Jon Snow all that much anymore, I'd rather him as king than Daenerys. Great video.
Good video. The only thing I don't understand is why people pit Jon vs Daenerys as if somehow they will be at odds with the people having to choose one or the other. From what we have seen, Jon and Dany are allies and Dany is likely pregnant with Jon's child. If they both live they will likely marry and rule together. Besides, Varys isn't really the type of guy whose loyalty Jon would even desire. Varys is the clever type character and Jon only respects people who keep their oaths. He would expect Varys to keep his oath to Daenerys
Thanks a lot man! I agree with your statement in the sense that they are in love and strong allies. However what my point is everything surrounding them is pulling them apart. An example would be Dany's mission to be Queen of Westerns, yet the rightful King of Westeros is Jon
If she wants to be Queen and he is rightful King then the simple solution is marriage not bloodshed. They could be co-rulers like Queen Isabella of Castile and King Ferdinand of Aragon. _It could work_
Dany is a fist, good for attacking established kingdoms and smashing chains Jon is an open hand, ready to hold a shield to protect others and to shake a friend's hand in trust this is their core differences, you can't rule seven kingdoms in tyranny or fear, you do it with respect and compromise.
With this vídeo i can really say that i havent thought about it until now. Varys described the perfect and rightfull ruller when he spoke with Tyrion because Jon Snow fits detailing oh his description. And great pronostic about hes ending game! Thanks!
lol! if only danny didn't listen to them, just like what lady tyrell had told her, "she is a dragon, be a dragon". she would have survived. she can easily destroyed the red keep, kill john snow n everyone who defy her, but she didn't because she has a good heart. If u want to sit on the iron throne u need to play your own dirty cards, n do not listen to others if u have the 3 dragons , unsullied and the Dothraki combined, u r unstoppable.
I think Arys went mad because Varys manipulated his paranoia - think about how Baelish's influence affected Lysa Aryn. I think he will try to help instigate a war between Dany and Jon.
Varys says, "I choose YOU because I know the people have no better choice." ---In his eyes, Jon will become the "better" choice. No madness, magic, or dragons as far as he can tell. Jon is a dragon, but he has Ned's temperament which by Varys's standards would be a better choice. Varys seemed to genuinely like Ned. Varys swore to tell Dany if she was failing, but I think he will resort to what he knows and does best...secret undermining and manipulation.
If you really believe Varys serves "the realm" you must haven't read the books. He's the same as Littlefinger just with a different approach. If he served the realm he would've freed and helped Ned. Who better for the realm than Ned? Cersei & Joffrey apparently.
Yes, and I seem to recall that in the show when he and LF are talking about goals, ambitions etc Varys does actually look at the throne. But the show has ignored this for ages, I don't think we will see more of that but rather him dying this Sunday to Dany's dragonfire because she somehow loses her marbles.
The voice could have been the 3 eyed raven. But somehow I believe Varys will betray someone in Season 8. He may shift his backing to Jon as opposed to Danny....
Jon wouldn't want the Iron Throne The family members he lost in the South would make him desire to stay away. If he could arrange it Jon would keep his ancestry secret from the general public and stay in Winterfell as Warden in the North.
I like this.. It makes sense. I didn't even put that together until I listened to this but I've been trying to figure Varys whole deal out. I think this is very very plausible.
I don't have a problem with him dying because if he betrays her without coming to her to explain why he would choose Jon over her and trying to make Jon take the power over her from behind her back which we know Jon doesn't want to or have....so if this cause Varys his life so be it because he was warned about it from her.
+Eric Womack yea and it makes sense to me because Varys has no other choice. The odds are stacked in Jons favour and he doesn’t want to rule. I think he will have a vital role in forcing Jon into power and Dany will realize when it’s too late
BuzzTox Jon will not take it and will defer it to her because he does believe she is the best to rule....now the only way i see him ruling is if she dies in child birth or if she defers to Jon
+Eric Womack I disagree man 😁 I’m working on my predictions but bottom line is I don’t think Jon will have a say because the people will already back him
BuzzTox you might be right then i would assume that you believe Dany will have no choice but to defer to Jon....i know you have your predictions coming but i think the iron throne will be gone by the end anyway.
BuzzTox I disagree If Varys dies it will be because of something that he does that would put her life in danger or something he did in the past maybe like have Willem Darry killed/ or plotting against Rhaegar. I don’t see Dany warring against Jon for the Throne. It is well explained in the books : there are 2 Dany, the one who wants to restore her family’s honor and the little girl who wants a simple life, who once envisioned to hand the crown to Daario.
to me the bittersweet moment is when dany realize that jon does not want the ironthrone. tho it is his. i believe he jon gives it to her. the north is in his blood. it's who he is. though he is rhaegars son. he is a stark first and for all. holding inside the values and honor of his adoptive father. both in heart and mind. i think that's why she didn't touch the throne in her vision. it the throne is not hers. but she will receive it through jon. at least thats my hope. thats the battle dany will have to fight and win within herself for her and jon can truly be together as one. just thinking.
I can't watch this. You've put more thought into Varys' character in an 8 minute youtube vid than the show runners did in all of season 7. I'm not trying to shit on your theories and your thinking here, I appreciate it, I do, but the sad fact is that great players like Varys and Littlefinger have been relegated to background characters to occasionally spout a pithy line of dialog and then be eaten by a dragon or killed by a faceless girl. The show can't mix their realpolitik with the new and unrealistic fantasy lilt they're going for, and they've gotten too lazy to try. I hope I'll be proven wrong, but I doubt it.
Interesting point of view . I think your theory support more the show then the book I would say. I kind of like it for show supporters only. For the books supporters I would say it is a bit more complexe
Dany will not end up on the Iron Throne because she wants it too much. Jon will end up on the Iron Throne because it will need him. George said the ending will be bittersweet so this is how it must be. Dany will work so hard but will never achieve what she wants most and Jon will be forced to bear the burden.
anyone else think varys might have royal blood of some lineage? why would a sorcerer buy him for an astronomical price? he could have bought any old slave boy to chop his wingwang off. Maybe before varys got cut he didnt shave his head, and maybe he had silver hair. and boom the bad guy was like "oh snap" and balled out buying him.
Queen Dany should have went back with the Dothraki and Let Jon rule the Seven kingdoms with Sansa as Warden of the North. Bran should have returned back north as the three eyed Raven and stayed there
Varys is a Black Fire. He can’t be burned. Daenerys will try but she will see that her dragon’s fire won’t kill him. Varys has the true claim to the throne! Mic drop 🎤
In season 1 they say the Targareyn's have been marrying their sisters for over 300 years to keep the bloodline pure. I haven't read the books, but my understanding is the mad king just descended into madness as a normal disease, maybe some might say it was a curse of incest, but since it doesn't appear to be a pattern, I don't think Daenerys would give it any credence.
HBO story is pretty good, book v so much better...the baby swap he and Ned did is the ultimate plot twist. Hopefully Jon meets his mom(Ashara Dayne) in the book v.
Sophia Wilson I'm just realizing how George wrote with hints and riddles in plain sight. A Jon snow parents=Ned and Ashara + Lyanna and Rhaegar baby still alive traveling w/Jon C, Ashara and others ending in the books with be great
I don't think he will lose his life. Jon is on the same team as she. If anything, he will follow her as she follows him. That said, it pisses me off that they based jon off of me and who I am. Had I a better upbringing and having not become disabled, we would be exactly the same. I would have went military and got out to be a streamer and gotten huge. Because ego I am and what I do. Test me. I dare you.
Interesting Idea . However in the books he is working toward putting his sister's son ( a Blackfire raised to believe he is a Targaren & rightful heir to the Iron throne ) on the throne
Who? I hope you don't mean Aegon the True Heir. Aegon Targaryen son of Rhaegar saved by Varys. Raised by Jon Connington the one and only rightful heir to the Iron Throne?
@@brentwyrick3300 nope he is a fake . However neither he nor his protector know it . The guy who sold the spider [ who along with an older brother & sister were the last known surviving members of the house Blackfire ] to a priest of ralor later sold his older sister to be a bed slave . When his now very fat friend was still young & handsome as well as a rich widower he tract his buddy's sister down bought her freedom & fell in love with her . They had a son they named Agon . When she was dieing of that illness that turns you to stone , he made her a death bed promise . He swore to put he son on the iron throne . Every thing he & his brother In-Law have done since then was working toward that end . He even intended to use the dragon queen to help . If they married , while striving for the throne it would put an end to the ➗ between the two lines , with the Blackfire line secretly dominating !
@@JAFKennedy I don't actually believe that at all. Honestly I'm one of the few that don't believe Aegon is Faegon. I also still believe Job Snow is Ned's son
she has 40000 dothraky, 8000 unsullied and 2 fully grown dragons !!!!!!! and yet you say all her allies are loyal to jon, he only has the north and the vail wich is around 40000 soldiers at best!!!!!! 2 dragons can win that fight easily, just look at the field of fire
First off that’s too deep dany isn’t like that she has jon mental and emotionally Now even if the truth comes to light stark blood in him made a vow to even if this comes out jon won’t go back on his word that’s not who he is he will allow her to rule but it don’t matter who rules they are ruling together now dany will marry jon because power is all she seek he just want his ppl token care for of together it works jon can tell dany what to do with harsh truth and she can take cause she knows he isn’t trying to offend her and she can give him a love he needs beyond war and fighting they don’t care who rules anymore because they both want the same thing and they both done it well dany is in love she’s not even worry about Queen status because they both will come to a arrangement for marriage
I don't think Jon will want to be king and he will remain loyal to Dany. The problem is the people will support one person or the other. That will dictate who will rule the 7 kingdoms
BuzzTox right! But jon will be like I chosen dany to rule and they have to follow her but dany wants jon as her king so regardless they rule together dany loves jon . Jon being family she will be happy he rules cause they still family if worse came to worse
Men, i don't know. If i have to pick up a character that doesn't really think things thorrowly it would be him. He has many possitive things, but this is not one of them, i think. When olly called him and then stabbed him, he answered the call right away..put cersei or little finger in that situation...they would be like..."hold on...what's going on here?" When he goes to talk to Mance Rayder... why? no fucking reason... again, impulsive, i think. Joining the night's watch in the first place... or attacking the WW instead of climbing on the fucking dragon to get out of there in the last season. Maybe impulsive is not the word. Maybe he is just dumb. Or maybe he is overshadowed by moral. I don't know. What do you think? I mean he isn't really smart, don't you think?
But i feel Daenerys will herself support Jon. She wants to have the throne as a Targareyn not for herself. And if she finds out that Jon is a Targareyn and the rightful heir, i think she will support him as she knows that he is kind and brave.
enRiQe iglEsias The Iron throne belong to Daenerys Targaryen end of debate. No way should Dany gives up her claim to someone who is about to found out that he's half targaryen. Daenerys brought her house back from ruin while jon was off being a stark, Jon has done absolutely nothing for house Targaryen to be called the rightful heir. Plus it's going to be Daenerys forces who Defeat the night king forces in the end, Jon sand barely has an army. So Daenerys is the one with all the power and she should never give up her claim to some guy she just met. Its not like Jon can do anything about it , All Dany has to do is say dracerys and Jon is toast. Also Danys claim is stronger than Jon's because Viserys was made heir by the mad king over rhaegers children and Daenerys was Viserys heir.
Bella Richards something to bare in mind is that legitimate sons come first then daughters then bastard and because Rhaegar married Lyanna that makes Jon a legitimate Targaryan son which comes before Dany in the pecking order. Whether Dany supports it or not is up for debate but we will see next year.
Bella Richards Dany is not going to give up her claim for Jon. Noooo no!! She will do it to break the wheel. Dany should do what makes her the most happy. I don't think ruling gives her enjoyment. She loves to free people. She is breaker of chains. And this system needs a change. They need to follow a system like the wildlings followed, they choose Mance Raider or what the Night's watch follows .. elections. And as far as Jon is considered he doesn't wants to be the King. If he ends up being, which i think is way too obvious and won't happen.... it will be because of his nature and his deeds... not because he is a Targareyn. Being a Targareyn is an excuse as far as he is considered. I think him being Targareyn is more related to how he can get Dany pregnant of all others and for continuation of the Targareyn Race. And for being Ice and fire.
Jacob Whelan Jon does come before Dany as far as succession is concerned. But if Jon gives up the claim which he can do as far as his nature is concerned, it will go to Dany. But I don't see Dany having a problem either with Jon's claim.
Jacob Whelan Dany is still the rightful heir, The mad king made Visery his new heir and crown prince after the death of Rheager at the battle of the trident bypassing all of Rheagers children. Visery made Dany his heir and princess of Dragonstone after the death of the mad king. Jon lost his claim the second Aerys made Visery his new heir, Dany is the rightful heir not jon. You can't have two lines of succession. Something D&D clearly missed from the books, if GRRM says Dany is the rightful heir, I will side with him over D&D
yeah i think that's his ploy but i feel like in reality he is self serving. We get so many small hints in the show that he isn't as benevolent as he likes his friends to think he is.
From the HBO perspective - this is spot on. From the book perspective - Varys is a Blackfyre - and the "Targaryen" he's attempting to put on the throne is his sister's son - Aemon Blackfyre (Ilyrio's kid by Sara) - which is why he was totes o.k. with the possibility of Danni getting whacked by assassins....Varys is a Blackfyre

+Relicfinds with Baltimorebottledigger Thanks!
Your breakdown makes the last season seem better than it was.
Well I'm glad you feel that way!
Would be interesting to see if its like book varys. Jon let's his emotions drive him, he nearly got himself killed by Ramsey.
Great video.
i think voice in the blue fire was voice of night king
but we don't even know if he does speak
He does speak like ice crackling, it is known.
It was BloodRaven.
_It could work_
Dany is a fist, good for attacking established kingdoms and smashing chains
Jon is an open hand, ready to hold a shield to protect others and to shake a friend's hand in trust
this is their core differences, you can't rule seven kingdoms in tyranny or fear, you do it with respect and compromise.
Dany isn't a fist but yeah that was very dramatic. How long did you work on it??
With this vídeo i can really say that i havent thought about it until now. Varys described the perfect and rightfull ruller when he spoke with Tyrion because Jon Snow fits detailing oh his description. And great pronostic about hes ending game! Thanks!
+Mariana Soto thanks a lot, glad you liked it!
Mariana Soto Nah, he was talking about Dany, Jon is a useless ruler and has no Political intelligence whatsoever
lol! if only danny didn't listen to them, just like what lady tyrell had told her, "she is a dragon, be a dragon". she would have survived. she can easily destroyed the red keep, kill john snow n everyone who defy her, but she didn't because she has a good heart.
Masterfully done.
+Malachite Nos thanks a lot!
I think Jon will sacrifice himself for the death of the Night King and his unborn child.
But the show has ignored this for ages, I don't think we will see more of that but rather him dying this Sunday to Dany's dragonfire because she somehow loses her marbles.
good video but please sync ur voice volume with the parts from got i almost landed of my chair so loud
The voice could have been the 3 eyed raven. But somehow I believe Varys will betray someone in Season 8. He may shift his backing to Jon as opposed to Danny....
Jon wouldn't want the Iron Throne
The family members he lost in the South would make him desire to stay away.
If he could arrange it Jon would keep his ancestry secret from the general public and stay in Winterfell as Warden in the North.
I like this.. It makes sense. I didn't even put that together until I listened to this but I've been trying to figure Varys whole deal out. I think this is very very plausible.
Deneres is a monster she is her father she burned the Tarlys .
I can see it playing out like that. Good video.
to me the bittersweet moment is when dany realize that jon does not want the ironthrone. tho it is his. i believe he jon gives it to her. the north is in his blood. it's who he is. though he is rhaegars son. he is a stark first and for all. holding inside the values and honor of his adoptive father. both in heart and mind. i think that's why she didn't touch the throne in her vision. it the throne is not hers. but she will receive it through jon. at least thats my hope. thats the battle dany will have to fight and win within herself for her and jon can truly be together as one. just thinking.
This show used to be so good smh
Why cant they rule together
I think Varys betrayed DANY already, how did Euron know where her ships were TWICE!
Pretty good video. Dany and jon, the only way is marriage.
Interesting point of view . I think your theory support more the show then the book I would say. I kind of like it for show supporters only. For the books supporters I would say it is a bit more complexe
Fuck the HBO writing then. They should have more seasons and/or put him as the ruler of the seven kingdoms
Dany will not end up on the Iron Throne because she wants it too much. Jon will end up on the Iron Throne because it will need him. George said the ending will be bittersweet so this is how it must be. Dany will work so hard but will never achieve what she wants most and Jon will be forced to bear the burden.
How much worse was it than we expected lol
anyone else think varys might have royal blood of some lineage? why would a sorcerer buy him for an astronomical price? he could have bought any old slave boy to chop his wingwang off. Maybe before varys got cut he didnt shave his head, and maybe he had silver hair. and boom the bad guy was like "oh snap" and balled out buying him.
So varys think of Tommon and Stannis as good choices and yet he betrayed both ......
no he wanted someone who was both.
If someone ripped my junk, I'll imagine, hear, and see all.
Varys said the voice answered. He never said anything about screaming.
You have it!
omg that light bulb moment.
What if Jon was not born at the tower of Joy? It could be Hotpie...I know mind BLOWN!
Since, Varys is missing his root and stem, does he have to squat over the chamber pot?
Eunuchs have a straw like device that they pee through, in the books varys smells like perfume and piss.
makes a load of sense
I feel like there’s not even those in the series to explain all the unexplained things
Mic drop 🎤
Oh please! He already got his dick and nuts burnt in a brazier. Think about it. 😂😂😂
The tragedy of Varys was to be destroyed by the one he served.
Daenerys and Jon will be wed. The Targareyn have no problem with incest.
But Daenerys knows incest is why her father became known as the mad king, She may very well have a problem with it.
Taragaryens marry Brother and Sister, Cousin and Cousin, sometimes Uncle and Niece and few times Aunt and Nephew.
if was descended into madness is cause by marry sister and brother why wasn't Aemon or Rheagar MAD?.
Excellent insight!
excellent well thought out.
Thanks!
HBO story is pretty good, book v so much better...the baby swap he and Ned did is the ultimate plot twist. Hopefully Jon meets his mom(Ashara Dayne) in the book v.
wow I thought I only one who believe Ashara Dayne is mother of Jon Snow
Test me. I dare you.
Very insightful, I suspect you will be proven right......
I also still believe Job Snow is Ned's son
well explained!!!...
Ether dracarys or the stretch of the night king telling Viserion to burn him.
Stannis also saw a vision...how did it work out for him?
+Moe Nix He was given access into the flames and has still had a significant impact on Jon Snow.
Moe Nix Well he aint dead in the books yet...
Very well said
Spoilers: Varys rides the Cannibal
good job
“What voice? Voice in the what..?” - D&D victims of Alzheimer’s
She's already on Jon's side so I think he will conspire some other way to betray her
Nice
Well that didn't age well.
Jon is the only choice. If another is chosen it’s lame
she has 40000 dothraky, 8000 unsullied and 2 fully grown dragons !!!!!!! and yet you say all her allies are loyal to jon, he only has the north and the vail wich is around 40000 soldiers at best!!!!!!
2 dragons can win that fight easily, just look at the field of fire
she should have killed Jon when she had the chance
So a theory saying Varys might of been a bastard tageryen cause he always had a shaved head
It IS because of the kind of man Jon is.
your right it is :P I talk about that in my Azor Ahai video. I just wanted to approach this not as biased.
I'm sure Varys will learn the truth and support Jon Snow over Danareys.
I still think people would follow jon and not daenerys because of her gender. Men had more respect in history.
Good video
Thanks!
Jon snow not impulsive? Did you watch the battle of the bastards?
Yea but i would attribute that with his honour and moral compass more than impulsiveness
Men, i don't know. If i have to pick up a character that doesn't really think things thorrowly it would be him.
He has many possitive things, but this is not one of them, i think.
When olly called him and then stabbed him, he answered the call right away..put cersei or little finger in that situation...they would be like..."hold on...what's going on here?"
When he goes to talk to Mance Rayder... why? no fucking reason... again, impulsive, i think.
Maybe it'll save his life
Wait, you actually believe he has the smallfolk's best interest in heart?
yeah i think that's his ploy but i feel like in reality he is self serving. We get so many small hints in the show that he isn't as benevolent as he likes his friends to think he is.
