- This is a 1940 Ford Tudor that Bad Chad plans on turning into a Coupe. The vision for this build is to build the Hot Wheels Neet Streeter toy.
Today we're going to chop the roof 4"

@@Bjlow i disagree, Chad and Jolene have many subscribers and companies such as Lincoln are happy to sponsor him. And..... chads conservative approach that you call tightwad isn't a bad thing. It actually shows people who are on a tight budget that they can do things that look great without tons of cash.
I did notice though, that comments like yours sometimes get chad wound up and frankly, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Because of Lincoln, Chad now gets to learn a new skill, get better at it, and then show others.
This is a win-win.
So if there is something here that you don't like then go watch a different show!

I ❤ watching you and the #QueenJolene working on these cars!!! Your ability to see things that most people can’t is absolutely amazing to me!!! Your talent is among the best in the entire world when it comes to making a dream or thought come to life! But when I think about how you just dive in and don’t spend hour after hour measuring twice and cutting once amazes me! Nothing super fancy, floors that don’t shine, and switching extension cords time after time just shows real car people like me that it can be done in the garage.
Pittsburgh Pa is where I’m born, raised, and still live.
I own a small auto repair business and am gear head by birth thanks to my Daddy!! Grew up building drag cars, drag racing, street racing, and then turned to building hot rods and street rods. My 15 year old son is following the gear head path and already has some cool cars to drive when he can!
I would love an opportunity to spend a week in the shop with you learning more being hands on and helping with one of these awesome creations you come up with. Much Love, Respect, Thoughts, and Prayers for the both of you and the families! God Bless You All today and everyday!!

I remember cutting my first roof. I used a Sawzall. The cuts were so bad I just wanted to scrap it. I now cut them pretty much like you do. Thanks for sharing with us, again. LOL

so how many inches was the roof lowered? from looking to me the old roof and where it sits "lowered" it looks to be about 4 inches.
