"What I remember about the rise of the Empire is… is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip; We all knew what was about to happen, what we were about to do. Did we have any doubts? Any private traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word. Not on the flight to Coruscant, not when Order 66 came down, and not when we marched into the Jedi Temple. Not a word."
+Mach9330 Exactly, it was always about Anakin. People always complain about how he's "the worst character" in the saga but he was the entire point of the saga! The whole series is about him!
This is only one part of whom you become, Anakin. You may not know it, but it is for the greater good. All that you are, all that you have done is in the name of balance.
Tragic Story. Palpatine gave you those visions of Padme dying in order to start you down the path that leads to them coming true. Just remember: When you sit in the council chambers after Mace Windu leaves to confront the Chancellor, and that really cool creepy ambient music starts playing, just wait a while and everything will work out. And if you don't, at least you get to become James Earl Jones!
The tears running down his face, not once but three times, you can tell he didn't want to do it, but had to for the sake of his beloved and children she's carrying ..... I know how he feels, when you love her so much would do anything to save her and their children, he was Tormented everyday, believe me I know how he feels, my god .......
Unfortunately....yes...he is my fav since i was a little boy...but people are happy for his return in the Kenobi series now...his Anakin is a.like a good wine...better with age....
+Chen Diclonius for my its Aayla Secura. In the cartoon series she is really close with all off her men and she treats them like individuals and then they slaughter her without a second thought.
For me, this is and will always be forever, the best movie in the world. I'll NEVER see something better than this. It's impossible. I grew up watching Star Wars, frist the classic trilogy and after the new one. I never thought I'd be watching a film so extraordinary. I can't describe this movie with words. There are no words for this. Thanks George, for my childhood and to and mark my life forever. Perfect movie... Perfect saga...
Agreed. I think Lucas was part of the blame too. People who worked with him did say that Lucas has great ideas, but he sucks at expressing them (he had more control over it in the prequels, which is why some of the dialogue in the prequels was worse than in the original trilogy), such as Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa), Mark Hamil (Luke Skywalker) and Ewan McGregor (prequel Obi-Wan). If Hayden would have had better direction, then I think he would have made a really good Anakin (at least in terms of dialogue, he really nails his expressions at times, especially in his Dark Side moments from Attack Of The Clones and Revenge Of The Sith).
I LOVE the fact that George Lucas DIDN'T put the movies in order. This gives us many more surprises and makes it so more dramatic when we see the life of Anakin Skywalker before Vader was even a glint in his eye. I watched the movies in the order they came out and loved it so much. I think it's much better then watching them 1-6. It's better watching it in this order: 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3. It shows how Vader became who he is. I wish George Lucas was still alive, still making these great movies. Hopefully the Force Awakens will be good, but I doubt it. Since Disney bought Star Wars they'll probably make it TOO PG.
greatest plottwist Is though he was forced to go the dark side and manupliated too Anakin didn't do It cuz Why not he also evrything about the padme vision DarthSidious Is behind that..Hence why he Is afraid and so worried constantly so ..Darth sidious Is the puppet master pulling his strings in the relationship ..padme was right there Is still good in him there was always good in him
Awesome job putting this together! Gave me goose bumps! Loved that you put Darth Vader's breath sounds at the end. I've been saying that the ancient Greeks would have loved the prequels because of the end. Anakin's eventual fall to the dark side is truly a Greek tragedy since he lost the one he loved thanks to his own anger. That and he also thought he also lost his unborn child, which as we know ended up being children.
Wow, dude, excellent job. This is the best video for anakin in youtube. Everything is perfect, the timing, the music, the scenes. You have forgot only one thing. The scene in which Anakin officially changes side. When he cuts off Windu's hand and saves his new master from sure death, is when the light side inside him collapses.
*I feel Anakin in a lot of ways, especially after a girlfriend breaks up with you and you later find everyone you were close to seem to have discarded you, so it’s no wonder we cling to the dark side in parts of our life. It’s what fuels us but at the same time you’re never the same*
Most of the time, I tend to think that the Force had a different agenda on how to have Anakin Skywalker bring balance to the Force. I think in it's own way with Anakin destroying most of the Jedi Order, the Force was showing the Jedi that the real enemy was themselves. If you really think about it, the Old Jedi Order (from KOTOR and even further back) has found itself on the brink of destruction time and time again. And through it all, they were so passive and thought the best course of action was to just resolve this peacefully. The Second Jedi Purge was pretty much an eye-opener for the Jedi Order, showing them that their old ways weren't working anymore. Whats more, Anakin didn't simply just choose the Dark Side. It chose him. After all, the Dark Side is just as much a part of the Force as the Light Side. And Anakin was conceived from the Force, being the Chosen One. And I'd also like to quote Obi-Wan and Luke Skywalker's conversation aboard the Millenium Falcon in Episode 4: Obi-Wan: "Remember, a Jedi can feel the Force flowing through him." Luke: "You mean it controls your actions?" Obi-Wan: "Partially. But it also obeys your commands." This saying goes double for Anakin. He naturally had the Force flowing through him, but it could also control HIS actions. Also, if Anakin was to truly bring balance to the Force, he wasn't going to stay on the Light Side FOREVER. Even George Lucas said that the ramifications of the Light Side winning would have been just as worse when the Dark Side won. The key word is BALANCE in the Prophecy. You can't have balance by having one side have more than the other side. You have to give a little to both sides, which Anakin did, as both himself and as Darth Vader. As Anakin, he's killed more than enough Sith, including Count Dooku. He's also won many victories for the Republic. He also served the Jedi Order well. As Vader, he killed countless Jedi, including Obi-Wan Kenobi. He even won many battles and rose an Empire. He was even more of a Master as a Sith than he would have been as a Jedi. Essentially, Anakin/Vader was a servant of both sides of the Force. So you really can't convict him of EVERY bad thing he did as Vader. He was just as much a human as the next Jedi and he wasn't completely free of malice. It was just the hand that Anakin was dealt in the Force's Grand Scheme. And finally, let's not forget that the Prophecy of the Chosen One was a JEDI prophecy. You didn't honestly think that the Force would follow some stupid piece of history that was written by a Jedi, do you? Hell, even the Sith had their own prophecy about a Sith that would be free of limits, lead the Sith and destroy them, and raise the Sith from death and make them stronger. But honestly, the Force had its own agenda to fulfill its own Prophecy and Anakin was the Chosen One to fulfill it the way the Force (not the Jedi nor Sith prohecy) intended to. End rant
i have so much to say about this. man this an amazing video. made me cry i mean when i think about his story and after i finish watching this it makes me realize this is how most people are and nobody would care or its like it doesnt matter (jedi) and people like anikan cant find away to "get help" or feel invisible or neglected. this is so relate able because there has been so many famous people we all love and admire that we have lost that we dont want to lose as well as family and friends. alot of people say they hate the prequels i dont i loved all the movies since i was very young and im 15 today. its definitley amazing and it helps puts the pieces together of darth vader's whole story. yes death is a natural thing but its a tragic thing. when you lose everything you care about i dont think anikans story could be a better example of that. sorry for my spelling
Poor choices lead to bad consequences. Your actions will affect you. If you make bad decisions, you will lose friends as well as loved ones and live with hate as well as be suffering because of those poor choices. Yoda is wise.
I loved how about 2/3 of the way through the music, right after the high of a dark triumph, it becomes solemn and painful. That is Anakins transformation - a leap towards power followed by a terrible fall
I love these fan-made STAR WARS homage videos!!! They make STAR WARS even greater!! I just wish they had there own category so they are more easier to find.
The Jedi were complete fools. Especially during the Prequels. Everybody is so shocked and saddened when Darth Vader does not spare the Younglings. Yoda, Ob-Wan the council...They were not supportive of Anakin and his dreams of his mother and then her death..Did they try to help him during that time? In the words of Yoda "Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not." If I had been Vader I would have told Obi-Wan "Do you miss the younglings? Are you mourning them?" And Anakins mother was not dying a death of old age and passing peacefully ..she was tortured and abused until her body gave out..And in the past there was a race of Sith. Do you think for a minute that during the wars between the Jedi and Sith race or Sith lords that there was not Sith children? Did the Jedi spare them? Or did the Jedi try to wipe the Sith out completely?..
+Arcane Alien They were never supportive with anyone. He had the same chances as others. Or did Qui Gon turn to the dark side because they didn't respect him as much as others? no.
+Arcane Alien If you ask me i hate the jedi order from the prequels, and from kotor and the EU, they are just assholes! I mean nothing more than religious assholes, Luke's Jedi order (old EU) was soo much better..
This is perfection! Words don't quite express it! This is movie worthy! I legitimately think that on the next anniversary for one of the movies 20th Century FOX and LucasArts should use this to hype everyone. Absolutely superb editing. The only thing I might've changed was the end JUST A BIT cuz it felt a little off sync, that is all. Definitely won a spot on my Epicosity Playlist, AND a subscription! I actually wanted to make something like this with the Anakin's Dark Deeds by John Williams playing throughout, but I couldn't have done it better than you! (Both b/c of lack of better modern editing and b/c of skill level) Besides I'm making a psuedo-trailer for my favorite single player game already. You and I might make good movie directors one day!
Its all such a tragedy and what's interesting to me is that the unsuited Vader in his own way is more terrifying because the suit dehumanizes him. Unsuited Vader is a man and we see that he is a man driven by painful emotions. Suited Vader is the personification of that form but still its a cloak and a shell.
This is probably the best SW fan video I've ever seen in RUclips :O Seriously, this is awesome and could easily be a trailer for the movies! The scenes combined with such wonderful music are really dramatic and the end with Darth Vader's breathing gave me goosebumps! Amazing!!! *totally like and fave!*
"Our time has come. For 300 years, we prepared. We grew stronger. While you rested in your cradle of power, believing your people were safe... and protected. You were trusted to lead the Republic-but you were deceived, as our powers of the dark side have blinded you. You assumed no force could challenge you...and now...finally...we have returned." "You were deceived. And now, your Republic shall fall" ~Darth Malgus
3:07 Star wars elite squadron mission 3 intro: The clone wars took us to the heart of the separatist movement...the planet cato neimoida. During this battle the true nature of the conflict would be revealed. The republic became an empire. 3:47 And the light of the Jedi was all but extinguished.

I love this video... lots of great moments and everytime I see anakin take Dooku down... with that counter and how he confused him and out classed him... #perfect
I'm an old skool Star Wars fan, and like many others I felt a little dissapointment when Episode 1 was released. However, Anakin's journey provoked many emothions in me, and this video captures those emotions.
@1jonde1 thank you! I really do enjoy this. Helps to let off steam & reminds me why Anakin-Vader is my all-time fav villain - psycho and passionate, let alone his morbid sense of humour. Actually, the epitome of everything we prefer to hold back in real life.
Man, i feel sorry for Anakin. Especially when he started to lose his mother, Obi-Wan (during part of the Clone Wars for the time), Padme, and the unborn children he didn't know more than 2 decades later. Being tricked by Palpatine's loyalty (up to Return of the Jedi), losing his arms and legs, and being left to die by being burned alive and get "refixed" with robotic parts going right into his burnt body... Jesus. He's just a guy who can't get over the fact of losing people he truly cares for and would go the extra mile to find a way to keep them alive and have a happy normal life like everyone else. Instead, he's was just used as pawn to the dark side of the force.
@Mayo2411 Yeah, Ep.1- Fear of loosing his mother. Ep.2- Anger at the Sand People for killing his mother. And Ep.3-Hate for Count Dooku for cutting off his arm, and that hate that made him kill Dooku, who was unarmed, and going against the Jedi Code.
7yrs later, Still one of the absolute best tributes to Darth Vader and Anakin that I have ever found.
Agreed this is probably one of the best compilations ever done.
Van Zan Siegfried watch ‘The Chosen One’ by Heroes Fan Productions.
Drawde_064 that is good too, but this one is quite special as it was made a decade ago. Yet still is better than most other tributes

Chaosmarauder I love Star Wars. I love the prequels, I love the originals, but most of all I love things that happen outside the movies
And people claim Hayden Christensen is a bad actor...
Just take a look at this.
He is a great actor, he was just poorly directed.
Atomic Runaways:
Agreed.
A bad script can do terrible things.
+Erik Gadman
He was perfect... when he didn't have to deliver any lines.
Yeah, lines from a script he was handed.
It's not like he wrote those cheesy scenes. ^^
+Erik Gadman I bet when he said 'I don't like sand, it's coarse, rough and irritating and gets everywhere' he was like "What the fuck am I saying?"
The entire movie series of Star wars is about the Tragedy of Anakin Skywalker
+Mach9330 Exactly, it was always about Anakin. People always complain about how he's "the worst character" in the saga but he was the entire point of the saga! The whole series is about him!

+Mach9330 I think even the new trilogy will be focused, in a different way, on Anakin!

Unsuited Vader is a man and we see that he is a man driven by painful emotions. Suited Vader is the personification of that form but still its a cloak and a shell.
This was amazing! I loved the editing, it was very smooth! Great job!
Perfectly edited and well done 1jonde1 ! Couldn't show it any better!
I was so lost for words...I could hardly find my way to the 'Add to' button and press 'Favourite'. You sir, have created epicness.
Great work. It's a real pleasure to watch this.
"Our time has come. For 300 years, we prepared.
We grew stronger.
While you rested in your cradle of power, believing your people were safe... and protected.
You were trusted to lead the Republic-but you were deceived, as our powers of the dark side have blinded you.
You assumed no force could challenge you...and now...finally...we have returned."
"You were deceived. And now, your Republic shall fall"
~Darth Malgus
One of the very best scores in the Saga...the beginning is particularly haunting...
3:07 Star wars elite squadron mission 3 intro: The clone wars took us to the heart of the separatist movement...the planet cato neimoida. During this battle the true nature of the conflict would be revealed. The republic became an empire. 3:47 And the light of the Jedi was all but extinguished.
Sc 38, The Old Republic, Star Wars Battlefront 2 2005, Battlefront 2, The Force Unleashed, Fallen Order, Revenge of the Sith,Clone Wars this soundtrack was everywhere!
"Only through ME, can you achieve a Power Greater than any Jedi." - Darth Sidious
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME
GREAT WORK DUDE
BEST MUSIC VIDEO EVER!
i would add at the end palpateen saying: LORD VADER, RISE!
This looks like it should be a trailer! This is a really amazing video.
I've never seen such a fitting combination of music and video, well done.
this video is amazing! definitely the best video showing his path to the dark side! i love star wars :)
John Williams, you are amazing!
This would've been a great trailer for the revenge of the sith movie
"What I remember about the rise of the empire is...is how quiet it was. During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the Five Oh First was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen. What we were about to do. Did we have any doubts? Any private...traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word. Not on the flight to Coruscant. Not when Order 66 came down. And not when we marched into the Jedi Temple. Not a word...."
I got goosebumps. I love John Williams and Star Wars.
This always gives me shivers...
Did you ever hear the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker?
My favorite SW song. First couple prequels did have their faults but I loved Episode III.
And the three soundtracks are amazing
I love this video... lots of great moments and everytime I see anakin take Dooku down...
with that counter and how he confused him and out classed him... #perfect
OMG Jonde you are so talented. I love all of your videos.
Best video of star wars I have ever seen!
Dude, excellente job, I loved this video, shows how the dark side consumes Anakin, and the final was outstanding, this deserves a Thumps Up Trophy =D
I'm an old skool Star Wars fan, and like many others I felt a little dissapointment when Episode 1 was released. However, Anakin's journey provoked many emothions in me, and this video captures those emotions.
You were the chosen one!
@1jonde1 thank you! I really do enjoy this. Helps to let off steam & reminds me why Anakin-Vader is my all-time fav villain - psycho and passionate, let alone his morbid sense of humour. Actually, the epitome of everything we prefer to hold back in real life.
00:32 KAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! LASHAAAA!!!! SIIALL NAHHHH, TUSH TUSH BOOGY!!
+AJ Hicks is there an english translation for that?
Luke Rigby Not sure. Just typed what it sounded like to me. Especially the "tush tush boogy" part ;^)
AJ Hicks I am laughing at your thing. Personally, I heard as "NUSH NOOGY!" It's funny either way.
So hauntingly beautiful...
A man so driven by passion and love becomes a monster with no freedom and no humanity. Truly horrifying and sad but so brilliantly done
@strelet671 With Sony Vegas video editing program
That's the best Star Wars video I've ever saw, great job.
3:38 is my favorite part so good
I loved the whole video. Pure gold. My fav part is from 1:30 to 1:56. Where Vader is walking off the shuttle and all the flashbacks are shown.
the music goes really well with these scenes especially the ending
Anakin Skywalker: The Tragic Hero.
The editing is so amazing
Dont turn it up too loud at the start to hear the choir....
I made the same mistake XD
Well done, the background music choices are fantastic.
1:45 HAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAA OHHHHHHHHHHHH👹👺
I added this to favorites before I even first watched this. And btw it does gives me the chills at some parts
The prequels were AWESOME!!! They had a GREAT story... Oh, and AMAZING video by the way.
I-VI are the best movies ever.
"You would be wise to surrender"
this video is so underrated
BRING HAYDEN BACK FOR EP9! Finish the Skywalker saga with the true Skywalker that the saga was all about: Anakin.
@cadbanefan13 it gives you focus * lol but ya at :54 if you play it at that part it does sound like it
I love how Vader is rising during the foreboding part of the score. Makes it so much better
Great compilation
