I hope that Chevrolet does not produce this monstrosity. If they do decide to produce this Corvette look-alike it should never be called a Corvette SUV. The name Corvette is a legendary sports model from Chevrolet. Just like the Huracan and Aventador is a Lamborghini model. The Corvette DNA can definitely be showcased on this new SUV but without calling it a Corvette since Corvette is its own dedicated model for Chevrolet as I stated before.

Personally this presentation did not satisfy me with the lack of photos on the track. I looked more like a current Corvette not a SUV. Guess i will wait for photos of the real SUV.

I wish chevy had a representative that reads comments. Here's my gripe ... How do you go so many years without competing with dodge and chevy and their street muscle trucks , skip making a blazer that is offroad worthy to compete with bronco/ rapter or jeep. Then all of a sudden, make a street truck that Will NOT blow the doors off of its competitors. The zr1 is 3950 pounds , so I'd imagine the suv will definitely be over 4 thousand pounds. 650 hp ? Trackhawk 700 , Raptor 700+ , where is the competing ? Because they've made it awd ? Trackhawk and Raptor both are awd . General motors is confusing. Every performance vehicle they make spends milliseconds as a stock vehicle. Buyers go to the tuners immediately.

This makes no sense. They can’t use the C8 platform to make an SUV, maybe the C7s but that tooling has been replaced.
After looking at the outside, I was wondering what the inside would be like in order to say it's officially an SUV. Then, after seeing the back seats, and the cargo space behind the back seats, really does make it measure up to being called, and considered a rightful name of ( Corvette SUV!!!) The extra room, and high rise outer design, clearly makes it an SUV! However, (Crossover SUV Vette) probably sounds better...lol 😁
