I have visited this market back in September of last year because someone told me that this was where you could get wholesale prices. A lot of these salesmen are super aggressive and I had to tell a few of the guys to back up and calm down before I leave. They were making me feel uncomfortable and not let me just look around and shop. It was like two to three of them trying to help me at once following me around. Most of these guys are on commission only so they only get to eat what they kill. Keep up the great work Czech

The "brokers" are all over Gikomba, they sell you before the owner spots you and they get their cut if you buy from that specific seller. It is just how it works. Because I know the place well and how it operates I just avoid them and go straight to the stall and deal with the seller directly. Gikomba is one huge, chaotic place that has literally everything especially clothes and apparel that are very affordable and good quality second hand clothes. It is packed as well and you have to be aware of your sorroundings and your property. It is not for the faint hearted and I commend you for being bold and exploring it.

And even though we did buy to support them but they do try to raise the price. We also visited some other beautiful places of Kenya that will take you breath away!!! Private developers and authorities are grabbing the market. Every time I visit the market, I have to plan ahead and I won't carry my primary phone or take my car.

I went to Nairobi, Kenya last year and had the worst experience of dealing with merchants at the Maasai Market. If my wife and kids were not with me I would’ve started knocking fools out. They followed me no matter how much I told them to go away.
A lot of one sided comments, a lot of those guys starve for days, if you go there putting a camera in their face it let them know that you're not from there and they will try to get you to feed them. They're just trying to eat!!

Czech I did a follow-up of those guys ,I even went up to their shop in gikomba, and it's like many people have gone there to tell them they misbihaved and I was surprised guys round there th got scared because of this issue they did know it will be on RUclips, I talked to two guys and they said they are sorry on behalf of their two friends, they didn't know that you are international youtubers visiting gikomba.
