Great wee saws. Just a caution. Don't operate the guard release to demonstrate whilst your finger is on the power trigger. It's very easy to accidentally pull the switch when turning the guard.
To be honest it's a piece of crap and dangerous too. At first I thought perhaps I misformed it, perhaps it dropped on the ground or something it but it's a design issue! It you look at 38s of the video you see the V formed aiming point just before the blade is NOT in the middle of the base plate's opening As you push down the machine onto your work this aiming point sticks before the sawing blade by SLIDING over the base plate. After two hours of operation one side of this aiming point slided (eated) itself into the base plate's opening (metal worn out) . Due to that the machine starts resisting when you press it down onto your work.. What's worse: when you release the machine it may not bend back properly to the locked position so that you can get exposed to the sawing blade unintentionally.. This also happens when dirt (woodchips) collect around the hinge (a screw with a spring wrapped around it) that connect the base plate to the machine. Remove the plastic cover and clean it there! For this price I don't expect Japanese accuracy but it should not be dangerous.
Put the tile on the board completely. Set the depth of the blade to the thickness of the tile by hanging the blade over the edge until it touches the board and set the depth lock. Then do your cut so you don't have to hold the cut part, everything supported by the board underneath. You won't have that annoying lip at the end of your cut.
Great video thank you but i have a question for you : the blades are 85 x 10 mm? i ask you because i am owner of HychiKa mini circular saw very similar and i need know the blade compatibility
If you work a bit longer with it, you’ll see that the red plastic ‘ dept ‘ adjustment is a bit sloppy. It doesn’t stay anymore at the right dept, so you have to be carefull if you’re working on something where this is important. I’m thinking of changing this little plastic thing, for a steel one. It’s also a good idea to buy the little saw ( the round steel circel ) itself from a good brand.
because he don(t test it ... but it(s not Bosch, Metabo, or not enough expensive ... that's crap ....Lol Honnest tools with 3 years garanty , for your house ... if you're PRO, Parkside is not for you, for other people these tools do the job ! (Yes i have few)
