The Zen has been the foundation of my system for over 5 years since it is both a Roon endpoint and Core. Together with my Lampizator Amber 4 the music just takess on life.
I’m in Italy otherwise I’d bring you a drink, but I wouldn’t be arguing with you. I have this Zen MKIII with my LampizatOr Golden Atlantic TRP and it’s heavenly. I feel the sweet spot in the Innuos line is the Zen for sure. The Zenith costs double and is not but a tiny bit better and that goes all the way up to the Statement which I demoed. That was truly amazing but at that price I’d wait for the Extreme mini by Taiko. Anyway Cheers for the video mate 🤙🏼
Not really, the Pulse is strictly a streamer. It’s hard to beet high quality files that play directly from the internal hard drive. The pulse will stream as good as any of the Innuos server counterparts, but not better.

Do you anticipate the new Innuos Pulse model to provide a sonic improvement over this Zen MK3?

Nice. Could this be used as a Roon Core server and Roon Endpoint (player) at the same time ?
These work great as a Roon core ,
Just plug in a USB dac and your set up to also use it as an endpoint
As a streamer only do you still think it has more 'body' than the aurender/auralic etc competition?
It is my assessment that the innuos product definitely has more body than Aurender or Auralic . They are dry in comparison
