      I wish one of the extra attachments was another analog stick. It sucks that you have to buy another entire controller to seemingly be able to use both analog sticks like you would on the normal dualsense to look around and move at the same time in many games.

      I think the idea is that it is a starting kit that will allow a disabled person to customize according to their limitations. For someone that has both hands but reduced movement, they could use the system in conjunction with a controller. For someone with one hand, I imagine they would have to buy additional attachments and figure out something that works for them.

      @bradleyblake7588 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@FBl I did watch the video first. Had I not, and then realized was wrong, I would have come back and deleted my comment. From what I remember of this video, it looked like there was only 1 joystick. They said you could pair a second controller to it, but that seems really dumb, given the entire point of this controller is to not have to use the regular controller. And given the price point, I doubt most people would want to buy 2 of them just to have 2 joysticks. If you have an answer to my question, that would be most appreciated, if you don't, then you replying here was dumb, and a complete waste of both of ours time.

    • @FBl
      @FBl 9 месяцев назад

      @@bradleyblake7588 If you had actually watched the video then you’d know that the point of this is not to replace and become the controller. It’s a base device for different people with different disabilities to customize it according to their needs and make their own set up. You can also attach the Dualsense controller that already comes with the PS5 to it and Sony is partnering with at least one other company to make more accessories for it with some already being available.
      See, you didn’t actually watch the video.

    • @PrinceRules64
      @PrinceRules64 8 месяцев назад +10

      @@FBl You're out of line. Bradley's initial comment was perfectly polite and asking a reasonable question. Then you come along out of nowhere with your rude reply that doesn't even answer the question. Were you having a bad day? Why have you decided to pick on Bradley out of everyone? There are many comments on this video saying it's not suitable for one handed gamers (in their view).
      From my distant perspective it's designed to address the physical limitations of the standard controller, blowing open the door to customisation. Just because it's not a comprehensive solution doesn't make it a bad one. At this price point I don't think feature creep would have improved the product.
      But the more important thing in this context is you had no justification for coming in so rude on a video that is about inclusion and bringing more people into console gaming. This could be watched by parents of gamers or gamers with complex physical and learning needs who have never had the opportunity to game before. The question is valid and you chose to be unkind.

    Bro i been gaming since 1977 at 3 years old with Atari 2600. Thats 46 years of gaming. Just last month my left hand the thumb and pinky finger joints both started to give me excruciating pain. The joints im thinking the tendons are torn. So im for the first time having to quit gaming i fear. But maybe this controller might help me to continue. So i an probably the only 46 years of gaming nerd in the world. And hardcore. But just a headsup, that if you game for 46 years, the joints in your left hand , specifically the thumb and pinky , the tendons tear. Even more specifically, the first joint from the tip of those fingers. Looking at your left hand, the thumb and pinky are at opposite ends , the 3 middle fingers are fine. But i figure the reason the thumb and pinky joints tendons get torn is because those 2 fingers are the ones that actually grip the controller more then the other fingers. So it makes sense that thumb and pinky fingers get messed up. Anyways. ✌️

    This controller is absolute garbage!! I bought all the Bite Switches available in Europe that work with a 3.5mm jack, spent a total of 180€ for the two Access Controllers plus nearly 200€ for the Bite Switches, and none of them are recognized by the Access Controller! Sony support is almost nonexistent, and there's no information on the internet or Sony's official pages. Logitech's accessory buttons are still not available over a month after the Access Controller's release, and no one seems to care!
    Apparently, there's no community in this area. My PS5, including all this "accessible" accessories, cost me well over 1000 euros, and I haven't been able to play a single game because there's no functional external input accessory! The Bite Switch I have is from Airturn and is officially suitable and compatible with the Microsoft Adaptive Controller according to the description and packaging, but it's not recognized by the Sony Access Controller, just like all the other switches and buttons l've tested.
    I can rule out a defect since I use a setup with two Access Controllers, and neither of them works! Why is there no information about this problem?! I believe I'm almost the only one trying to use this controller for its intended purpose. With the Microsoft Adaptive Controller, there are numerous official how-tos and DIY guides for building accessories and input devices, along with a helpful community. Sony couldn't care less. I'm so desperate and would love to throw all this junk against the wall.Why are there no test videos about this?
    I contacted Sony Support about this issue two weeks ago, but I still haven't received a response.
    Desperate regards, Florian

    well.. it's about time, Sony !! Microsoft didn't wait for you... Kudos for the effort, anyway.
    Now, what about this ANNOYING way to place joysticks (in line ), for the normal PS5 controller ?
    I know that most fanboys of Sony love them but I prefer the unsymmetrical joysticks from Microsoft.
    Sony's controller give me cramps .... And that's the problem with PSX, PS2 , PS3 , PS4 and PS5 (Yes, I play for the software, NEVER for the hardware.. and Sony had very good games !!! ) .
    And sadly Sony REFUSES to third party companies to produce "Microsoft' style" controllers.
    you CAN'T have a Microsoft's controller with all the "bell and whistles" from a normal official PS5 controller....
    Shabby Sony, really shabby ! 😞
