- I took a day trip to Pilanesberg National Park, back to where it all began 9 months ago, to celebrate WildWild Journeys reaching 2K subscribers and to answer all of your questions. Call it a Q&A Safari?
I want to say thank you for being a part of the journey so far. This is really just the beginning of a broader story and without you, none of it is possible. I feel a real sense of community from you here. I hope you get to know myself and WildWild a bit better through this video. Thank you for your questions.

I read two great quotes last night, Byron. The first one was “Adventure has a way of introducing yourself to yourself” and the second one, which I LOVE, was “Adventure is the respectful persuit of trouble.” I’m sure they’ll both resonate with you as well… I really enjoyed this Q&A video - it’s such a great way to connect with your viewers. And whenever you have those self-doubts in the future, remember we are all rooting for you.
Wow, both those quotes resonate with me big time. ‘The respectful pursuit of trouble’ is so well put. Thanks Vil, that means a lot. Thanks for watching and will chat soon!
Great quotes, Villiers
Bucket list on the Zambezi MUST be Mana Pools. Spent awsome times there. Heaven on Earth
Just got home from this amazing trip. What a place!
Great video, really great work done. Lots of blessings for you Byron, as well as WildWild Journeys.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Hi Byron - wonderful video and congratulations on getting to 2K subscribers. Your dedication and hard work are definitely paying off as your videos are really getting to be top notch. 👍👍
Thank you so much, Joe! 🙏🏼
Thank you for taking us on your journeys ❤
My pleasure! Thank you for being a part of them 🙏🏼
Not only have we been spoiled with captivating footage, a sense of tranquility but also the calming voice of an eco-philosopher 😊
I’m thinking of staying in South Africa to better enjoy its beauty
Where would you recommend for a long term stay around the Kruger?
We all look forward to 10k subscribers 🎉
I’m not sure about eco-philosopher, but thank you for your kind words 🙏🏼
You would not be disappointed. If not too sure about where for a long term stay outside of Kruger. Maybe have a look at Marloth Park? Also depends on budget I guess…
I would stay in Kruger for a full experience then maybe move on to another area completely as the rest of the country has so much to offer apart from the bush 💯
Another beautiful and deep episode Byron
Thanks for sharing and awnsering all the questions
Congratulations on 2k, definitely only the beginning with the high quality videos, you will be celebrating 10k in no time🎉
Nothing quite like sharing a high 5 in the bush
I will definitely be interested in a wildwild journeys "experience"😁
Thanks so much, Christiaan! Your questions were awesome and helped make this Q&A better 👌🏼 hopefully many milestones to celebrate in the future… and yes! Who knows, maybe that will be a thing one day 🤞🏼
And just like that, I'm booking a trip to Pilanesberg National park. Grateful you're giving this a go because you truly are talented, and its always extremely refreshing to shut off from the business of life, and enjoy your videos. Thankyou
That’s great news! Pilanesberg will treat you well for sure. Special place. Appreciate you being here - thank you
Great episode again Byron, look forward to the next adventure that you will be heading to.
The banks of the Zambezi trip further in the year you will treasure many epic sightings there and my bucket list indeed
I won't reveal the name but I know where you heading 😂
Enjoy it bud 🐾🐾
Thanks Cole! Ah dude, I can’t wait 🐘
Nicely done bud, a nice perspective on you, your experiences and future goals
Thanks Matt, appreciate you watching 👊🏼
Hello Byron, congrats on 2k subscribers and you deserve much more for all of these amazing videos, thank you for doing a Q&A it helps us to know more about you and what you passion is. ñ Just want to ask where that rock is where you went to in this video n think you said it is in the west of the park because every time we go to pilansburg ñ want to go to that rock but don't know where it is thx🎉💯
Thanks so much, really happy to have you here. That rock is on Moloto Drive. You go past Batlhako Dam, carry on past the picnic spot then a few kilometers after there is a small turn off to your right. It’s an amazing place to sit with a snack and binoculars - always something to see there 👌🏼
Thx Byron appreciate it
Congratulations Byron, 2K is a great milestone to reach and I've no doubt you will double that very soon. Your insights and knowledge are so valuable and your bucket list trip sounds amazing. I look forward to learning more in time
Thanks Stephanie, so glad to have you be a part of it!
Priceless
Wow,what a stunning video and getting to know you as a person 👏 you are such a humble soul, thanks for sharing your experiences with us and stay safe

@@sawildlife24 thank you so much! Also loved the smiley terrapin 😂 thanks for the questions and for being a part of it!
Thanks Byron, great video!
My pleasure, thanks for watching

My pleasure. Thank you for watching 🙏🏼
Hey Byron
Another great episode 👏🏼
You’re making world class content that you should be extremely proud of.
Really looking forward to the future content you have planned and wish you all the successes you deserve for all your hard work - it will pay off 😎
Hey Mike, thanks so much for the kind words! It’s extremely encouraging 🙏🏼 thanks for being a part of it in some way too 👊🏼
This place is my childhood❤
Ok compromise, I’ll come on a safari with you, but I’ll stay quiet in the backseat doing my own photos until you need a high five. 😂
“Pretend I’m not here” 😂
Thank you so much for this! You have to do a part 2!
Thanks Thomas! Great to hear.. Maybe this should be done for every ‘milestone’ the channel reaches?
@@WildWildJourneysdefinitely!!
The “world champion” sighting was quite cool😂
Was wondering if anyone would catch that 😂
You actually should have said 3x world champion. Just because. 😮
But on a more serious note. A Safari journals book for the future would also be something to think about maybe.
Thats true! Hmmm that's an interesting idea as well. Who knows...
Congratulations on passing the 2000 subs mark 🎉 follow your passion, the rest will fall into place!
Thank you Dalene! Yes, love the simple and solid advice 🙌🏼
Thanks for yet another lovely video. I suspect that you are going to visit Mana Pools later this year. Wherever it is I am looking forward to your video.
Thank you Simon! I think my hint was a bit too obvious… yes, I cannot wait! Lots to come before that though
Great Q&A session Byron. Congrats on 2K and climbing. Looking forward to the next video and of course your trip to the Zambesi later this year. Waiting in anticipation of the next one
Thank you so much Carol. Appreciate it!
Wonderful video B. Once again you are inspirational.
Thank you Michael! 🙏🏼
Love the vid, keep it up 💪! As a youngster I would love to visit Pilanesberg with you, been visiting Pilanesberg for a couple years now and would love to learn from you
Thanks Diego! Appreciate you watching 👊🏼
What a great video. Really so inspiring. I'll be doing that bucket list destination of yours from 24 Aug to 3 Sep 😅 Hope to bump into you if you're there at the same time!
Thank you! Ah, awesome, I’ll be there a few weeks after then.. enjoy it! 🐘
Hi byron.
We are going to Pilansberg friday and we wanna know if you can maybe tell us wich is the best road to drive (from Pta) and wich gate would be the best to go in
sorry i know this is a weird question but i know that you have been there before😄
im also looking forward to the video about the place you were a few weeks ago and posted the 5 pictures of!🎉
Hey! I’m not sure on the best road from PTA but Waze would definitely do the trick.. I personally usually go in through Manyane, the earlier the better and would try be all around the centre of the park in the mornings and late afternoon as its best for all sightings there and the other parts of the day I would explore the rest of the park. But also just go with your gut at the end of the day 👌🏼 I hope that helps in some way!
@@WildWildJourneys Thanks👍
What camera / equipment do you use to take the photographs?
Thank you, why don't you use a beanbag?
I find it restricts smooth movement and to be honest I’m in a bad habit of forgetting to use it 😂
Here in the Netherlands, I always have it lyjing in my car.😊
What camera / equipment do you use to take the photographs?
I’m using all the same equipment listed in the description 👍🏼
@@WildWildJourneysThank you so much, completely missed it! Just been on Holiday to Pilanesburg and saw the Big 5 and it was just an incredible, life changing experience!
@@bhavma1408 that’s brilliant! Such a special place. Life changing sounds about right 💯
