👍...As a former Catholic, I attended grammar school taught by the "old-timey" nuns....I shall always revere the quality education they provided and strangely, I support the SSND regularly to this day....
God bless the Sisters of St. Mary. The old ones were great. Some of the younger ones have gone modern though. I remember in Dallas when Sister Francis Marie was retiring from the university, having taught there for many decades. She told us that the order made her remove her veil for her retirement ceremony because they didn't like it.

The orders that re dying are the ones who threw away all that they stood for and the new orders with habits and community living are flourishing
A sister who wishes to should be able to continue wearing a
traditional habit.
