The transaxle shifting forward was the main problem on that machine. And my neglect 🤣

I used to weld like your friend, keeping the tip of the mig gun between the arc and my eyes. I found I was unable to focus and I had multiple images of lights at night. I went to eye doctor and they told me I had cataracts, I had to get new lenses in my eyes! So the moral of the story is, don’t do that, Wear a proper welding hood with appropriate lens shade.
Agreed. He forgot his helmet that day. I should put a disclaimer in my videos. And I do push safety in most of my videos. Even though I contradict myself at this moment 🤣
