from Gerry- I've never seen a triangle loom done this way. Usually you work across the longest side and do continuous weaving starting at the sides and progressing towards the middle. While this is very pretty you're going to be at this for a long time. Have fun. Blessings.

Thanks, it really doesn't take any more time than the traditional continuous strand weaving. And bias weave gives stretch to the fabric that I love. Happy weaving.

Is this my lucky day or what...??? Not looking for this but found your video and a million ideas come to my ignorant--on-weaving mind...!!! Here we are today, a Sunday, pretty quiet and peaceful... and I encounter your channel... not talking but showing... after many others on fiber handling and ask myself: Where have I been that it never occurred to me to find more about this new, to me, landscape...??? This new world with endlessly creative possibilities...??? And you add to it, to this wonderful feeling of conflict-free occupation, to that continuous sought-after moment of restfulness every one is looking for, with the well chosen music (at least in the first 10 minutes...!)... Your postings should be advertized as a "Happy Hour" promise... I am not kidding... I am a widowed senior, mother of four daughters, grandmother to two granddaughters and three grandsons; I knit lace shawls, crochet, cook, bake and try to write, college educated in the U.S., the works... and I never even investigated your field of work... How utterly dumb and stupid of me... I will follow you from now on and try to understand the simple complexity of your artistic imagination... You have blessed this spirit and I thank you for it...!!!

Glad you enjoyed it. The fiber art world is a lot bigger than I ever imagined too. I just like to experiment and explore different ideas to see if it works.
Hope you learn to weave it's a very relaxing hobby.

I really love this idea. I can see using a crochet hook on the part where the warp is very short, but why not use a pickup stick on the rest of the pick?

You could use a pickup stick, I just find the crochet and afgan hooks easier to use.
