    Very helpful video!! 😊 When pulling the yarn through the holes - did you always take the same colour? Dark trough hole, light through slot? I tried to figure that out but couldn't quite follow...Thank you!

    • @JeneratedDesigns
      @JeneratedDesigns 14 дней назад

      No, you need to thread 2 dark, 2 light. When direct warping the slots you alternate dark, light, dark light. Then when threading the heddle you need to have dark slot, dark hole, light slot, light hole, repeat. I hope that explanation helps.

    WHY ARE ALL OF YOU PUTTING HUGE YARN AT START?

    • @JeneratedDesigns
      @JeneratedDesigns 23 дня назад

      The waste yarn at the start is used to separate out the warp threads so they are evenly spaced before you start weaving your project. I hope that helps answer your question. Happy weaving!

    How do you keep the twist in the plarn? I’ve worked with fibers before, but I imagine plarn can’t just be relied on to stay twisted

    • @JeneratedDesigns
      @JeneratedDesigns 29 дней назад

      I have not had a problem with it holding twist. I always ply 2 strands together, I'm not sure a single ply would hold up as well.

    I absolutely love this video! It was so easy to follow. I immediately warped up my 6-ft loom and began weaving. Thank you for making such a great, concise video!. I usually crochet around the edges of my shawls, would the bias work with a crocheted edge? Or would the crocheted edge inhibit the stretch or does it even matter??

    Is the yarn comfortable if you made it into say a scarf or gloves?

    • @JeneratedDesigns

    • @XatxiFly
      @XatxiFly 9 дней назад

      Plastic will also insulate like hell but not breathe, so it would probably be very sweaty to wear, kind of like a cheap polyester Halloween costume except denser and more rigid. Probably not very comfortable on the skin, but it could have some cool costume uses.
