It’s almost funny how they keep adding features to the Nordic Hyper before it’s even been shipped. It’s a real pleasure to see a company add value & overdeliver when most companies are nickel & diming us everyday.

It's great and I've always had a weaker lower-back, simply genetic (thanks mom..) :D
Well, after I stopped going to the gym and started my homegym, I've really been missing both a hyper and GHD especially, I know there are exercises and ways to work the lower back without, but... I don't know, I feel like they are "meh" and doesn't do enough for me personally. Also reverse hyper I've never tried, but I know that every single person who owns a specific reverse hyper machine (e.g. West Side Reverse Hyper) absolutely love it.
BUT, as I focus my entire homegym around NOT having weight-plates, I had to skip on the idea of a reverse hyper, until now. So this is just perfect for me and enough to really get it going.

Can do all the exercises here except nordics lol. Starting on the highest incline. Any advice on technique? Sometimes I feel it more in my lower back in my glutes vs hamstring and calves
It is definitely normal to feel it in those areas! The Nordic curl works the entire posterior chain.
If you’re really wanting to feel the hamstrings, aim to keep your glutes tight, and your hips locked out the entire time. Meaning there is no hinge at the hips at all 👌 let me know how this goes!
It is likely you may have to regress to a higher incline, but don’t be discouraged. You will be working the hamstrings even more.
Just got mine. Waiting for the ghd pad but so far I’m impressed. Just getting started with it but I’m a happy customer!! If you are on the fence, just order it.

I'm so excited to receive this in November! I pre-ordered this the first day it was announced. For those who already pre-ordered, do we automatically receive the GHD pad as well or do we need to purchase separately?
Looks like an upgraded model. The first version doesn't have these new features hence the higher price. I'm glad I waited!
@@whymindsetmattersactually when they added the hip thrust mode after the first batch of preorders were announced, that was an add on free of charge for people who already pre-ordered, including myself. So they will most likely include this GHD pad add on free of charge for those who pre-ordered way early on, at least that's what I'm guessing.

@@whymindsetmatters From what I've been told directly from FA, the pre-order models are the same. So if you pre-ordered way early, or today, you get the same unit when they ship. But the GHD pad is an add-on option upgrade from the Pre-Order. So no issues with anyone who pre-ordered early...
Can you do a glute ham raise all the way up to 90 degrees bent knee and torse is vertical? Is it comfortable if you can? Doesnt seem like theres much support to fully extend your gips the way i mention but its hard to tell off a video. Thank you
Hi! Yes, you can do full glute ham raises off of the Nordic Hyper! if you would like a better visual of this, just reach out and I can get you one!
I'm concerned about the "fuzzy" part of the velcro wearing out. Can you make replacing that a possibility without tearing or ripping something?
That's a valid concern! The velcro is going to be a very rough, high quality. it doesn't get "fuzzy" like traditional velcro. However, if for some reason you wear it out, all parts are covered by a lifetime manufacturers warranty. So at any time, we can get a replacement for you if it doesn't hold up.
When using it as a GHD or Reverse Hyper, the part with the footboard tilts up off the ground. Am I doing something wrong or should there be something heavy helping to anchor it?
There is a loading bar on the back of the machine that we recommend putting weight pates on! You can also add weight plates to the silver pegs on the front of the machine to add stability for more explosive movements!

Are you guys exploring European Distribution? Unfortunately, at 2x the original price after shipping/taxes for EU customers, the price is prohibitively expensive.

How does the reverse hyper feel? Is it primarily a glute exercise like the traditional pendulum version?
It is not the traditional pendulum version, however, it feels amazing on the lower back. It feels like it is bringing blood flow to the area, and I always feel better after doing it.

@@freakathleteco Hey can you guys take a look at my reply from 10 days ago and let me know: Is the banded reverse hyper here effective for isolating glutes for strong lifters, or is it just a lower back movement?
Hi! Apologize for the delay, the reverse hyper with bands will be a bit more tension in the top of the movement. It will target more low back & glutes and will be hardest at the top position.
It can be awesome for bringing blood flow to the lower back.

Have you all considered adding labels or laser cutting the degrees into the posts? It would help with keeping track of progress with the nordics.
They confirmed on my video about it last week, that there would be engravings for the angles and height adjustments.

@@eheheh3263 just to clarify as I got asked this awhile back too... There aren't "multiple versions" out there. With the exception of the pre release version I have.
Anyone who has ordered or will order, is getting the exact same unit. The ONLY caveat, is the GHD pad. If you ordered before it was a thing, you had the option to add it on.

Can I use it for bench press as well?
At this time the Nordic Hyper does not support being used as a traditional weight bench for bench press!
Can you use it as a regular bench though
At this time it does not fully support being used as a weight bench.
Due to the width of the pad, it would make it very hard for most users to get a full range of motion on the movement.

Do you have the recommended numbered pin holes I should be using per mode for someone at 5’11”
Hi! I am not sure I am completely understanding your question- Which mode are you referring to?
@@freakathleteco if it had a chart like for GHD we recommend the setting “7” based on the your height .. sorry I can try further explanation if I am not making sense. With a lot of the movements I spend a lot of time trying to get on and off to see if I have the right setting for my height

Will this work for short people? 5’2 5’3
Absolutely!
33" from foot plate to top of hip pads really doesn't seem short enough to accommodate folks at 5ft tall for back extensions. Measuring my 5'2" tall family member it looks like the top of the pads will be digging right into their abdomen/hips when hinged forward.
People will have varying leg lengths which may result in some people 5’0”-5’3” being too short for the machine, however, our Nordic Hyper in Back Extension mode is able to adjust shorter than the vast majority of those on the market.
It is well worth the try!
Love it and cant wait for it to arrive! Also side note, that beeping in the background is distracting. Sounds like a battery needs changed in a smoke detector or something

How will accommodate someone over 6 feet tall?
Hi!
Every mode on the Nordic Hyper can accommodate up to 6'10"
The only mode that would not accommodate someone that tall would be the reverse hyper mode, in which the max height would be around 6'3".

I’m stoked for the product I think that it’s very unprofessional and not fair that the people who pre ordered this in august get penalized for it by having to pay now for these upgrades. How can you upgrade a version of something that you haven’t even sent out to the public yet to start using? That’s ridiculous
To be fair they're not running a charity over here. They still gave us a free upgrade when the hip thrust was added. More features brainstormed before release means tacked on value to the product and naturally they're going to capitalize on that. I mean, I would.

impressive but way overpriced! costs more than a years subscription to a gym, and that's "on sale" .
You do have a point here! It may cost more than a years membership to some gyms, but many gyms wouldn't have all 6, Nordic Bench, back Extension, GHD, and Hip thrust.
Different needs though, some people don't care, and thus would work better in a gym setting, some people do, and are willing to invest in having it all at home!
