Oh absolutely. The Tamron can be considered as pretty clean and relatively sharp. The Super Takumar is significantly softer. If you're interested, have a look at my Super Takumar review for more detail. You could obviously dirty up an image in post production to make it look more vintage but you can't clean up an image from a vintage lens to make it look modern and sharp. All of it depends on what you intend to shoot.
@@MarcelGlas I'm more into 90s vibe. But i am filming myself 100% of the time in Vuhlandes style. I just moved from Fujifilm to Panasonic Lumix fullframe system and building my lens set from scratch. I have modern slow zoom 20-60 for some tasks and wide shots and now i am thinking about fast 50mm modern prime with AF vs Super Takumar for a pushed vintage look with beautiful flares. I already bought 35/85/135 Ussr vintage lenses so i think 50mm Takumar might be a overkill
@@antonzavarzin7208 It's a tough call only you can answer. I love the flares of the Super Takumars but modern AF lenses can be tremendously useful. If you're actively earning money with your equipment I'd suggest something practical. If you're mostly a hobbyist I'd suggest going with something fun. 🙌
I actually sold the Sigma to get the Tamron. Image quality differences don't matter since both of them can capture beautiful results. I'd say the major factor is if you need the Sigma's 24mm for wider shots. If not, the Tamrom is significantly lighter, which makes it a more fun experience on long shooting days or while traveling.
@@kumarthapamagar3496 I wouldn't be too concerned about this. I've used the Tamron for about two years on multiple paid jobs and this never came up. If however that is something that concerns you, it can easily be corrected during postproduction.
Love how this looks, Marcel! Beautiful footage 👏
Thanks a lot! Much appreciated 🙌
Essa lente é realmente incrível
Thank you sooo much for this beautiful sample. I’m gonna get this for Nikon, it’s the only decent f2.8 zoom lens for Z mount 😅
Glad it was helpful! 🙌
Always wanted this lens for my a7iii
Such a good deal. Really love that thing. 🙌
Is there a lot of difference between super takumar/other vintage lenses and Tamron? With dehancer/grain etc on both footage

Jesus, I watched 5 seconds and was sold thank you I couldn’t decide between this and the sigma considering this is $700 RN it’s a no brainer
Glad this was helpful to you Nicholas! Hope it will serve you well 🙌
Which one you recommemd sigma 2470 or tamron 2875g2

@@MarcelGlas is there not any image quality differences i feel tamron has. Little bit distortion

soo good but maybye try to delete the test from the name so it doesn't look like a temporary project or something like that
Good input 👌 thanks!
