Alright I'm back again, but let's see how long this lasts. I've been more busy than ever lately but thats not a very good excuse so I'm sorry for slacking. I'll try harder to make it up to you all.
I tried some new things with this video. I used all new (to me) recording and editing programs and the learning curve was a bit off putting but I'm pretty happy with the results. I also wanted to move away from art in the background as doing those were stressing me out. I had been wanting to do scenery shots instead but it took a while to get some shots that I actually liked.
This particular video I remember being a tad bit sick when recording and some of the writing doesn't make a whole lot of sense but the rest is a good little story for what it is.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the video!

My favorite place to be at a concert is leaning on the speakers. The mosh pit leaves me alone. And I can only feel the band’s sound. Unlike most of my fellow autistics, the volume of sound doesn’t bother me. The number of speaking people messes me up. I can’t turn them out, so I end up listening to and trying to understand every conversation. It’s exhausting .
Being a music teacher made me enjoy this even more. Just wait until Krill finds out that humans play music to their young to make them smarter, and that doctors use music to help heal brain damage, and that the brainwaves of musicians in a band sync up when they start playing together.
Remember how Tolkien said Middle Earth was made? Remember what Sauron and Finrod fought with? Music and Song, truly such things are Magical.

I have to wonder if the desire for a rhythm may come from the heart beat. That tireless pump on our chests needs to keep going, it will speed up and slow down but its always "thump thump... thump thump... thump thump." There's major problems when the heart gets out of rhythm.
Anywhom, It's good to see some of Krill's observations again.

So... Krill thought a very basic form of music was complex? From what I infer, it was free-style rapping with someone beatboxing while everyone else was doing Stomp-style improv. Professional, super-talented bands would make Krill fall over and convulse in a boggled state then.

I can only imagine how Krill would feel if they went to a live orchestra playing something like Beethoven's 9° symphony, 20 mins of pure musical madness filled with complex vocals and melody, it would be near brain-melting
Never permit Krill to listen to EDM, the poor sod would die from cognitive overload.

We're not even the only animals on our planet that enjoy music innately; Elephants bob their head to Jazz, parrots will dance to music, and dogs can bark or squeak their toy to the beat of a song.
Elephants: the giant animal we still treat like a cute kitten. They’re great.
Make sense in a way, if this enjoyment of pattern is what allow humans to survive on earth than its natural that animal of earth must have it to some degree to help with their survival too.

What a TREAT! I'm always excited when I see your videos pop up, Humans are Space Orcs is one of my favorite "tropes" and you read them so WELL!
I liked this one. It kinda made me think of TierZoo's videos. They're really just about cool facts about animals, but framed as a video about video game characters. Just like this video feels like it's really about an interesting aspect of how humans work, just with the backdrop of comparing them to imaginary space aliens.
Every time I browse through my subscribed channels and see what hasn't posted in ages, they always manage to post something that week.

If I remember right human enjoyment of (rhythmical)music is actually relatively new and comes from old times when following a beat helped coordinate movements such as marching, rowing, or other such tasks, there's also the older and more erratic music that was more often used to scare away animals from settlements and camps.
