I knit soap sacks that double as bath mitts. They're eco friendly and sustainable. You just toss them in the wash when they get icky, and unlike loofahs, they don't sit in a landfill and you won't throw them out. Everyone loves them.
Is there a crochet version? I have seen soap sacks but not ones that double as mitts. I think it's an awesome idea. If you have any links or creator info you could share it would be awesome. TIA
A crochet jewelry box is honestly ingenious! I'm trying to be more sustainable when it comes to gift-giving so making mini pouches they could reuse would definitely be better plus thoughtful too hahaha

I have made all the Hello Kitty amigurumi from Stitch and Story as random presents for my friends this year. They are so adorable and cute. I am remaking the one with the heart again for my god daughter
just finished crocheting little sloths for my niece, and knitting a blanket for my aunt 😭 my hands are in such pain but it looks so good. i really love these ideas, definitely gonna make some for next year
An easy blanket idea: daisy loom blanket! You just need to chain the loomed daisies together. Could also make a daisy loom bag :) I made one recently they’re very easy and low commitment
The raverly free pattern addiction is real, i have so many tiny little mushrooms that i want to make into keychains or just straightup sew onto sweaters so i look like I'm decaying its the move
Im knitting SOOO many sunday socks for friends this christmas Also made a norwegian sweater for my brother so now we can all match woth our similar but unique norwegian sweaters in different colours and fair isle work, but all knitted by me :)

For Christmas I'm making 2 knitted octopi from all the scrap yarn I've hoarded - one out of the thicker yarn and one out of the thinner yarn Pattern is by purl soho and it's been really fun (but long) to make! Just incase someone needs ideas Edit: just to add on -- hot water bottle covers!! There's free ones online (both knit/crochet) or just wing em yourself! Customize colours and cables and whatnot :D

What type yarn do u use for this??
@@gabriela_knits Cotton yarn is great for this. I use Sugar n' Cream and Peaches n' Cream yarn for this. Both are 100% cotton.

I'm thinking fragile glass Christmas balls might just possibly be protected a bit by the crochet.
Instead of using wraping paper, I use fabric that I reuse every year (furoshiki) and paper from my old school notebooks!
