Great idea to make a ASC/CAN harness so that OBDLink MX+ can be used! Could synchronize the data to the video a bit better though :P timurrrr from GitHub
Sure, it won't have some of the inputs you wanted, but it's definitely fast enough; no issues with that in my experience. It's also very cheap and requires no mods : )
@@oozk Depends on what you think "fast enough" is. In my experience back when I had a gen1 car, the throttle and speed data was borderline via OBD-II (10 updates per second on a good day). OBD-II was too slow for brake pressure data and individual wheel speeds (which is important if you're evaluating brake balance). When using the CAN bus, you can get 50+ updates per second.
@@alexchen7353 it doesn’t require anything to mount it. It comes with foam to space the battery higher so you can use it with the stock mounts. If you don’t want to use the foam, then you’ll want shorter battery j hooks.
Wow. Much speed
Nice lap!

I'm directly able to use obdlink lx on my '23 BRZ; why do you need the harness? Here's a sample video: ruclips.net/video/1f5ffvBUYaU/видео.html
@@oozk you’re using it via obd. It’s slower and doesn’t have steering angle and brake pressure data. That data is only available via can bus.

Nice driving?Which model of Anti gravity battery do you have? I'm planning to get a lightweight battery as well.Did you notice any difference?
ATX30 RE-Start. I didn't track the car without the battery so I'm not sure about any difference. Lighter is always better though.
@@ronac44 Hi again, What battery mount do you use with the ATX30?I'm planning to get this battery as well.

@@ronac44 Thank you!Didn't know you can mount it without the box.
