Would be so cool if Siyeon started to promote dreamcatcher in Japanese, like in the thank you speeches where they have Korean, English and Chinese, would have an ultimate flex by adding Japanese.

The way I understood most of this video without reading the subs even though I haven't studied Japanese in over 10 years, I'm impressed with myself. (Yes, most of it is basic LoL) Man, they would've become so big in Japan if they had better promotion, but I know rock music is oversaturated there already and there are tons of J-alt-idol girl groups. Still they would've fit right at home, even Jiu seems confident speaking Japanese.
Good lord! How many languages is that in total between all the members? Obviously 1Korean (no-brainer) and obviously 2Wuhan Mandarin. BUT THEN, we have fluent 3English speakers, we have 4Spanish speakers, a little bit of 5French here-and-there, there was at least one 6Portuguese song that somebody covered, the group did 7Sign Language in at least one choreo (and I really hope they do more of that)...and now fluent 8Japanese for some members. WOW! What is next? Can't help but love them for being as inclusive as possible! And their staff is awesome, too!
Now, I want a full version of Yoasobi Idol from Siyeon. Also, as a fan of J-pop and J-rock since around 1998 and a long time anime fan, I learned how to sing in Japanese and I know lot of sentences in Japanese too. My Japanese pronunciation is very good too and has been approved by lot of Japanese voice actors that I met at the anime con here.

I don't know if I'd say fluent, but she's pretty good, from what she shows in this video. You can hear her hesitate, and you can se how frustrated she became near the end of the Pony Canyon sentence. Though I only caught one actual mistake: instead of スクリーム (sukuriimu), "Scream", she said スクリム (sukurimu), "scrim". It is a common pain point for Koreans as Korean doesn't do distinction between long and short vowels (as demonstrated by SuA's おじ様 ojisama "uncle" to Dami's 王子様 oojisama "prince"), but she otherwise did well.
