Ok. Here’s a question. In what world can you just step down from queen (or elected???) and give it to some random person? In case she is an elected queen, QUEENS ARE NOT ELECTED
"Um Actually" The Gungan people elected Jar Jar to represent them in Naboo's planetary government. While he wasn't directly elected to the Republic Senate he has the power to vote in Padme's absence on the behalf of the people of Naboo as an appointed member of her cabinet.
Pretty much everything in that question was wrong. It wasn't a tie-breaking vote. The vote was overwhelming. Jar Jar proposed the motion. Amidala was no longer queen. And they weren't fighting the Trade Federation. How do you get a question that wrong about such a major franchise in a show and about nerdy pedantry?
Swanky Films Siobhan is back after going out for a year, but unfortunately Zac left CollegeHumor, but has stated that he will still appearing here and there every now and then

Slytherin isn’t actually an evil house, it just happens to value traits that are common in criminals. Andromeda tonks, regulus black, draco malfoy and professor slughorn are not all bad. And there are bad guys that aren’t in slytherin, like quirrel, gilderoy lockhart, peter pettigrew, and GELLERT GRINDLEWARD, DEEMED ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL DARK WIZARDS EVER. The traits for slytherin are ambition and cunningness.
Charlye Sunshine how would Grindelwald be from slytherin? He's not even from Hogwarts. And if he wouldve been, you can bet anything he wouldve been in slytherin.
Serge Linx the whole point of me mentioning him was that he wasnt in slytherin. And you can’t confirm that, but i kind of agree with that assumption. Still, he wasn’t actually in it so it doesnt count.
I meanif your point is "not all slytherins are evil and not all evil people are in slytherin" then I guess it's relevant (though you already have other examples in that case). However if you're trying to say "slytherin and evil is correlation not causation" (which I think you are?) then the example is irrelevant.
Charlye Sunshine But in all seriousness I agree that it’s pretty basic that Slytherins are not all evil. Though a lot of Slytherins seemed to encourage the Slytherins traits in their children because there was a political value attachment that spawned in the house. Especially because Voldemort’s values were similar to Salazar Slytherin’s (despite those values not being the traits of the house). Hence all the outliers who weren’t in Slytherin because cunningness and ambition were so far from their nature but hating muggleborns was their political stance. I reckon so many kids with parents of the same evil political notions ended up in Slytherin because as Rowling says - you are sorted into the house whose traits you value most; not the one whose traits you most have.
Um actually, commenting 2 years later to high five this. Magician's Nephew has always been the most compelling and long-lasting conceptual book in the series. The hub of worlds?? The origin of Narnia icons?? You kidding me? Unskippable. (I read Horse and His Boy too early in elementary school and remember none of it)
Um actually, I am agreeing 1 year later. The Magician's Nephew is fantastic, and together with The Horse and His Boy they are my 2 favorite books in the series
Um actually, 1. Padme was no longer queen at the time of the Emergency Powers act. 2. The powers were granted to counter the Separatists not just the Trade Federation. 3. Jar Jar is (manipulated into being) the one to propose the amendment but we do not see the vote on it. In fact in the film it seems to get passed immediately upon being proposed. There also appeared to be overwhelming support for it so where is this tie breaking vote thing coming from?
Um, actually Slytherin is not all the bad people- its just portrayed that way in the movie, but in the book many Slytherin students help to fight against Voldemort and are friends with people from other houses, ect. 🐍
Deino Mite That was horribly nitpicky, but absolutely in the spirit of this show or whatever it is, so if I was even slightly capable of doing so, I’d give you a point.
Um actually, Voldemort said all the Slytherins were fighting on his side, with the exception of SLughorn, Snape, and Draco. Rowling said something about them coming back at Leaky Cauldron, but it's not cannon.
Ok well it might not be 100% scripted, but they're definitely doing it sarcastically and not seriously. I doubt they all actually knew the right answers tbh. It's great though I love it
Nathan Altman they usually don’t script game shows I think...you can watch their livestream videos and you’ll know. They are comedians it’s their natural ability to be funny
Maverick um, actually, you should not use any ointments. Ointments cover the wound, and thus keeps the heat in your skin for longer, causing more damage. It also increases the risks of infections. You should only use ointments that the doctor prescribed, which he or she will only do after a while.
umm actually, slytherin isn't a bad house; they get pigeonholed as being evil due to the association with voldemort and many of his deatheaters, but pettigrew is proof that evil people can come from other houses as well. if you really think about it, it must have been difficult for many of the students from slytherin, as they had to overcome these awful assumptions made about them. (also would like to point out that horace slughorn, andromeda tonks, and merlin himself were all slytherins and none of them turned out bad.)
"It must have been difficult for many of the students from Slytherin"? Difficult for whom to do what given that their lives do not exist outside the narrative of the books.
Um, actually, The Magician's Nephew is a very good book in my opinion. Not too long, not too short, and very interesting in regards to the origin of Narnia. Am I right?
Horse and his Boy and Magician’s Nephew are my favorites, honestly. Stuff like the crow being the first joke instead of telling the first joke still brings a smile to my face ^_^
I loved it. I've read the entire series a couple times, and a few of the books even more than that. I originally read them in the published order(that's how the set I got as a kid numbered them, and I just followed it), and would suggest the same to anyone else because certain unexplained elements of TLTW&TW - especially the lamp post - add to the magic and mystery of the story on a first-time read. When they were finally explained in book 6(The Magician's Nephew, published order), it was all the more satisfying.
Um, actually Tornado has a solid black dress. Siobhan is wearing a button-up and skirt. Also, Tornado's hair only curls at the ends, not near the roots like Siobhan's hair style.
I kinda feel like the Narnia question is a bit unfair, as The Horse and His Boy takes place long after the main story of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Technicly it's correct, as there's like a 30-year gap between the last and second-to-last chapter of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and The Horse and His Boy takes place in that time gap, but it's still very much a trick question.
While true, time in Narnia did still pass. And since the majority of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe takes place in Narnia and The Horse and His Boy exclusively takes place there, using Narnia's time for this tends to be the better option. However, as I said, technicly it's not wrong.
I feel like the time line isnt just the end phase of 'wardrobe' but that several of the lesser known books take place during the rein of the four kings and queens. But its been a long time since i read them. So i dont know if i am confident enough to call 'um actually'.
Um actually, it is unknown who cast the vote. Parks couldn’t have done it as she was a queen and not a senator. She did however, give a speech in support of the vote for emergency powers against the trade federation. Jar jar binks cast the vote on Senator Amidals vote to give emergency powers concerning the creation of a clone army to fight the CIS. The jar jar binks vote occurred in episode two
Um actually, the Queen Amidala gave a speech to the Galactic Senate proposing a vote of no confidence in Supreme Chancellor Valorum. This took place during the Phantom Menace as a response to the Trade Federation assault on Naboo and Senator Palpatine would have cast the vote as the Senate representative of the Naboo. He was also nominated as Valorum's replacement. It was Jar Jar Binks who proposed the granting of emergency powers to Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine in response to the Separatists threat on Geonosis in Attack of the Clones. No vote was shown as cast, instead no member of the Senate objected to the proposition and it was approved.
Um, actually, Merlin was a Slytherin. As am I. Not all Slytherin's are evil, it's just a side effect sometimes caused by ambition, which, might I add, permeates more than one house. The Ravenclaws for example are right assholes to anyone they consider beneath them, just look at how they treated Luna.
UMMMMmmm actually DO NOT put a bandage on a burn, it will stick to the burn, use a special burn dressing- if one is not available use cling film or a plastic bag
They had a skit where something really embarrassing happened to him, and it was implied that he might never show his face again-- leading to speculation that it could actually be his last video.
What is your level of nerd? I go by the handle of supreme nerd. I talk down to people on the internet based on what computer hardware they buy when building a desktop and dark souls is my favourite game because im the fucking best.
Gryffindor had a weird rat kid and some gingers, Hufflepuff had good ol' Eddie Cullen, Ravenclaw had... well probably somebody memorable and Slytherin canonically had fuckin Merlin AND Tom Felton. Checkmate, bitches.
um actually, you were wrong on the Star Wars Prequels one. First at the time of the vote to give Palpatine emergency powers, she was a Senator and no longer queen. Second the vote was not to fight the Trade Federation it was the "Separatists" who later became known as the confederacy. This was a conglomerate of several groups the Trade Federation being just one If you want it to be the Trade Federation and Queen Amidala then the vote would be the vote of no confidence the Chancellor Valorum which leads to Palpatine coming to power. Sorry your channel fails the nerd test that no one caught those errors (and this is coming from memory as I have not seen those films in at least 8 or 9 years
The Horse and his Boy must be sneaky in the ending of lion, witch and wardrobe, to fit between the coronation of the Pevensies, for Aslan to then leave across the sea, some time later I guess come back, get to Archenland, then closer to Calormen to chase Shasta and Bree to meet Aravis and Hwin. It literally does fit an entire story within one chapter of the other book - wow what an author ❤️
Coming back many years on, I am recognizing a few things that I really like about these early shows. First, the pace is breakneck compared to today. I don't think I would prefer a return to this sort of pace, but the lack of interruptions pleases me. Second, and the real reason I needed to comment: the subtitles for guests! I love these, and definitely prefer them to the 'resume' style ones now in use. I suppose it is more work, but by golly, it is a lovely detail. Third, Mike Trapp lost some weight, good on you buddy, I imagine it was a goal and I wish you the best for helping make real this great show. Lastly, I am impressed that the Real Life Skill was a bit all the way from the start. Nice
Slytherin is a great house. Snape is one of the greatest and most loyal members of the Order of the Phoenix lying to Voldemort for years. Slughorn duels Bellatrix, and Merlin is also a former Slytherin. Edit: Also, Regulus Black, who himself drank from the basin to spare Kreacher, spent his dying breathes attempting to defeat Voldemort’s Horcruxes years before Dumbledore began.
Seventy Six Screaming Eggs Selfish? Maybe. But in the end Dumbledore trusts him (and he extends Dumbledore’s life), Harry says he’s one of the bravest men he knew, and Snape acted bravely as selflessly as a double agent for the Order of the Phoenix.
Milo Pesce Ares We happened to view the Slytherins through the point of view of someone who hated most Slytherin’s. There are a lot of great witches/wizards from Slytherin. Many of whom were/are very nice.
Um, actually, Slytherin is not the house of assholes. Just usually very ambitious and determined people. Normal traits but too much of anything is a bad thing. Too much bravery, you might end up dead for a dumb reason. Too much loyalty, might get your heart broken by a backstabber. Too much brains, might overthink everything until you fall deep into depression. Too much ambition, you might get corrupted, always seeking more power. Hence it makes sense that Slytherin had more evil wizards compared to the other houses... but there are good Slytherins too. You can be ambitious without being mental about it! All of this assholes talk and now I've got Joe Moses in my head singing _so many assholes in this place_
John Jones John Jones Except that's not even true, it's just Ron's biased opinion based on A) living in a primarily Gryffindor family, B) being only 11 and not fully understanding the complexity of the world yet and C) a lot of propaganda and just general spreading of the word between so called 'good wizards' ie Gryffs, Claws and Puffs, the word being Slytherin is evil and everyone else is good. Pettigrew: Gryffindor, Crouch Jr: Ravenclaw, Quirrell: Ravenclaw, if you count Cursed Child as canon (which I don't) then there's also Cedric: Hufflepuff, not to mention countless other witches and wizards we don't know the house of and ones that didn't even go to Hogwarts and may not have been Slytherin if they did. On the other side, there's Slytherins that 'did good' and 'fought on the right side' of the wars like Merlin and Slughorn, you can even count Regulus and Snape for doing good deeds in the end if you want.

The proper treatment for a burn is to actually curse loudly for 10 minutes and do actually nothing to help the injury
And then throw your cooking if you are cooking something and order takeaway.............
Okay but seriously, why the Dutch are they using soap? THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU DO, THAT'LL JUST IRRITATE THE BURN
The Servant of Evil yeah i know?
UnPhayzable. Um, actually, you forgot to say “um, actually”
um...actually my russian granny use the freshness of potatoes for treat a burn
Siobhan’s hair is my favorite part about this episode
Um, actually, Padme Amidala was a senator when the vote was cast, she no longer held the title of queen.
Wow thanks for the clarification My Lord
Darth Vader You fucking nerd. Naming yourself Darth Vader
Uhm actually, Darth Vader is dead
Ok. Here’s a question. In what world can you just step down from queen (or elected???) and give it to some random person? In case she is an elected queen, QUEENS ARE NOT ELECTED
Samot0423 I know right
Um, actually, Zac's CH arc ended in the goblin battle of the destroyed bathroom. Having him here is obviously not canon.
Blarp 8
it's in the style of the chronicles of narnia and not released in chronological order.
Prequels?
charles townsend, your comment will be ignored because you didn't say "Um, actually"
Um, actually it's in the style of the chronicles of narnia and not released in chronological order.
"Who the f*ck elected Jar Jar Binks to the Galactic Senate" is my favourite Mike Trapp quote 😂
"Um Actually" The Gungan people elected Jar Jar to represent them in Naboo's planetary government. While he wasn't directly elected to the Republic Senate he has the power to vote in Padme's absence on the behalf of the people of Naboo as an appointed member of her cabinet.

that is an excellent question
World Wide Wong they should make this a card game

Um, actually jar jar proposed the motion, but didn’t break the tie. Secondly, Padmé isn’t queen anymore.
David Oh I had to scroll way to far to get to this.
Thirdly it was to fight the separtist alliance rather than the trade federation
Thank you. That annoyed me.

Zac's response "I don't know what anything at Comic-Con is, but I would love to go" makes him my spirit animal.
Please dont tease me with Siobhan unless she's back for good.
Swanky Films Zac too

“Slytherin is kind of a shitty house right”-

Uhm actually... To treat a superficial/minor burn you should run it under lukewarm water to ease the temperature of your skin, and eventually switch to cool water.
You were right about omitting the use of ice, but putting your hand directly under cool water is still a temperature shock!
No one needs a blanched hand that’s for sure lol.
Um actually, it's called "Heat shock". (It's because when it was first discovered it was after exposing cells to heat. The same response happens regardless of whether it's hot or cold,. It is even called Heat shock when it is responding to a stress that isn't heat/cold.)

this needs to be a real tv series asap

it is you just watched it 😂
What tf did I mean by that reply
uhm actually, Zach's last video was the poop one
I'm confused if he's still on the team but not a writer or he's really out of college humor.
Winterfell Um actually, his name is spelled Zac.
Zac left!?
These are literally my favorite skits and would 100% be my favorite tv show
I kinda feel like the Narnia question is a bit unfair, as The Horse and His Boy takes place long after the main story of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Technicly it's correct, as there's like a 30-year gap between the last and second-to-last chapter of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and The Horse and His Boy takes place in that time gap, but it's still very much a trick question.
TheGreenAssassin um actually, in our world barely any time passed at all.
While true, time in Narnia did still pass. And since the majority of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe takes place in Narnia and The Horse and His Boy exclusively takes place there, using Narnia's time for this tends to be the better option. However, as I said, technicly it's not wrong.
WOOHOO! MORE PLEASE!
So happy to see this back! :D
EXCUSE YOU THE HORSE AND HIS BOY IS MY FAVOURITE
What a Silly Boi tried to smash like more than once 😂
Cole Recksiedler How is it?
I feel like the time line isnt just the end phase of 'wardrobe' but that several of the lesser known books take place during the rein of the four kings and queens. But its been a long time since i read them. So i dont know if i am confident enough to call 'um actually'.
Omg finally another one!
Zac isn't gone yusss!
This is my favourite college humor series. I would legit watch this weekly
Um actually that Black Lotus is from the Unlimited set. The card you wanted was the more valuable Alpha Black Lotus.
writingworks But it still is an artifact so the answer remains
I call whoever made that Photoshop's nerd cred into question
writingworks Agreed lol
I love this series so much. I just wish you guys uploaded more often and could make this a real game show.
CLICK ON IT INSTANTLY BECAUSE SIOBHAN ON THUMBNAILS, ALSO UM.. ACTUALLY
MY QUEEN IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER
Hey, leave Slytherin alone. We aren’t all bad.
you dont sound like a slitherin. If anything you sound like a hufflepuff
I'm a Slytherin! And I won't be put anywhere else
Yazhi thank you
Why can’t everyone be nice to each other and be themselves
Name one person, aside from Severus snape, from slytherin who was not a jerk who tried to kill or just disrupt everything that was good
all jokes aside, Zac is so cute I want to fricking die
Bradie Maree mood.
Ummmm actually you’re pretty fucking cute too though
Bradie Maree um actually that's subjective to the person watching this
Levi Heath Um actually, Zac Oyama is objectively the cutest thing to ever exist in this plane of reality.
Marina Blue um actually 😂😂😂😂😂
They need to make more of these. I love this series.
UMMMMmmm actually DO NOT put a bandage on a burn, it will stick to the burn, use a special burn dressing- if one is not available use cling film or a plastic bag
Wait, Siobhan is back and Zac is still working with CH?
dear christ I hope so, Siobhan and Zac are two of my favorite cast members..
Did Zac stopped?
They had a skit where something really embarrassing happened to him, and it was implied that he might never show his face again-- leading to speculation that it could actually be his last video.
YES!!!! MORE OF THESE PLEASEEEEEEE
What is your level of nerd?
I go by the handle of supreme nerd. I talk down to people on the internet based on what computer hardware they buy when building a desktop and dark souls is my favourite game because im the fucking best.
Zero deaths?
Zero deaths sl1fist only ng+7
Gryffindor had a weird rat kid and some gingers, Hufflepuff had good ol' Eddie Cullen, Ravenclaw had... well probably somebody memorable and Slytherin canonically had fuckin Merlin AND Tom Felton. Checkmate, bitches.
Well Slytherin is just a bunch of assholes headed by a spy and hiding behind a snake.
And which house is the one with an ACTUAL GIANT SNAKE LIVING UNDER HOGWARTS? Do you REALLY fancy your chances against Slytherin?
Player 4 Also Slytherin girls are real kinky.
Um actually, Tom Felton got sorted into Hufflepuff. Sorry, I had to.
Um actually, luna lovegood is a ravenclaw so like,
Siobhan is amazing! She's funny, intelligent, beautiful and has that AMAZING accent. Love her D20 work
um actually, you were wrong on the Star Wars Prequels one.
First at the time of the vote to give Palpatine emergency powers, she was a Senator and no longer queen. Second the vote was not to fight the Trade Federation it was the "Separatists" who later became known as the confederacy. This was a conglomerate of several groups the Trade Federation being just one
If you want it to be the Trade Federation and Queen Amidala then the vote would be the vote of no confidence the Chancellor Valorum which leads to Palpatine coming to power.
Sorry your channel fails the nerd test that no one caught those errors (and this is coming from memory as I have not seen those films in at least 8 or 9 years
yep
Michael Cohen stop
I was about to type this but was hoping to find someone else who noticed. 😄 Thank you for pointing this out!
Yes! And like nobody 'voted' jar jar Binks in, padme had him sit in for her ahhh
@The Once and Future Nerd Nerd Pride
I love this show
The Horse and his Boy must be sneaky in the ending of lion, witch and wardrobe, to fit between the coronation of the Pevensies, for Aslan to then leave across the sea, some time later I guess come back, get to Archenland, then closer to Calormen to chase Shasta and Bree to meet Aravis and Hwin.
It literally does fit an entire story within one chapter of the other book - wow what an author ❤️
Siobhan is back
Game Geek God I hope not
Sioban!!!!!!!
Julian Fuentes um actually it's Siobhan
Nice
I
NEED
MORE
I um, actually really enjoy this show
This is by far CollegeHumor's best series
Um actually you shouldn’t use cold water or ice you should use Lukewarm water. I have taken first aid for 6 years now in boy scouts
Please please make this a boardgame!
You guys need to one of these every week.
Zaaaaaaaaaac 😍😍
Hey! Slytherin is not just "the evil house"
JelloniSandwich *Um Actually
I love that um actually is back so much
Wow prejudice against slytherins
Slytherin is a great house. Snape is one of the greatest and most loyal members of the Order of the Phoenix lying to Voldemort for years. Slughorn duels Bellatrix, and Merlin is also a former Slytherin. Edit: Also, Regulus Black, who himself drank from the basin to spare Kreacher, spent his dying breathes attempting to defeat Voldemort’s Horcruxes years before Dumbledore began.
Snape was a fucking selfish arsehole. And this is coming from a slytherin
You forgot to say me, obviously a fantastic Slytherin who is not evil.
It's still the minority. The majority of Slytherins are assholes
Milo Pesce Ares We happened to view the Slytherins through the point of view of someone who hated most Slytherin’s. There are a lot of great witches/wizards from Slytherin. Many of whom were/are very nice.
This is my favorite video series on CH. Good job guys🌠
Siobahn is my favorite of them all I LOVE YOU !!!!!!!!
I still refuse to believe "The Cursed Child" is a thing, so in my world Slytherin is still a house of assholes.
I came here just to say hello fellow starkid
Slytherin is the house for if you are sly and cunning
Um, actually Trapp said "they were traveling through Winkie land" (3:43) but the official name is actually the Winkie COUNTRY.
Alternate universe
Presenter: what level of nerd are you?
Zac: Over 9000
UmT actually there's a difference between being a nerd, and being a weeaboo.
Um, actually, that would be Pat's answer
*8000, it was a translation error
Then will Zac die his hair blond?
Um actually, Tripp would have a nerd power reader
