    I love the subtle "woah" and "haha". Usualy mountain biking videos are all 'im so cool and calm and this black route is easy' these videos just feel like a guy having fun which I feel is so much more enjoyable

    I haven't ridden that trail since I moved away 12 years ago. Good to see it's still in decent shape. Great video!

      Thanks! The builders have done a good job in keeping it alive, albeit with some modifications.

    Maybe a local can correct me, but are most of the stunts/woodwork missing from the first half of the trail. It's been years since I've been there, but I remember the first half of the trail being stupid hard all the way to the hollow stump. I don't remeber there being anything in the clearcut, except for the first move where Dave came off the skinny.
    I may be combining trails in my head (Woodlot Gold at the top is in my mind as well).
    Anyways, it's always great to see people riding what is left of these creative lines.

    Sweet video man. I'm confused by the massive amounts of logs laying around. They look to be cut down, unless I'm wrong, but why would loggers cut them down and then just leave them behind? A lot of your videos are littered with them and it's had me asking lol. Keep it up though man awesome videos for sure.

      Thanks for watching! That's all blowdown from wind storms. The cut ends are usually where the log has been cut to clear it from the trail.

    What a great trail. Getting a little sad seeing the stumps of the glorious giant trees that used to grow there. Now it's just a tree plantation and not a real forest.

    The video makes it appear as though it’s all downhill grade. How much pedaling are you doing, as you are breathing very heavy? Great riding and a blast to watch the videos of BC.

    These pnw trails make me anxious just watching the vids...very hard to distinguish what's trail what just so happens to be walked down or flattened out earth...just seems like you could get lost very easily

    How much travel do your guys bike's have, do you think 140/130 would be enough for something like this?

      Definitely, but probably at a lower speed with different line choices.

      Trying to get some cringeworthy clickbait-style titles going. Dale and I met through riding friends a few years back. I think we were both on Ranges at the time though. His was clapped out in typical Dale fashion.

    Would like to try this trail with my old school trek dh it's not as long or slack as the new bikes are it be interesting results for a head to head

      Old school bikes (or maybe middle school?) would probably make life a bit easier on some of these lines. Might have some trouble getting around those tight corners if it's dual crown though.

    Full face helmet and no knee or elbow pads. Seems weird to me. Maybe I'm the only one who protects their head during a crash.
