Great comparison review! I feel like adding a decibal reading in would take it to the next level. How does vibration compare between the VXR and the V3?
Seams like the V3-31 was the fastest of the bunch with a 450-grain arrow. That is about the right weight for here in north-Western Montana. It seems like that weight is about right for decent penetration on elk and still flat-shooting enough for a 50 yard shot on a mule deer. I always use a fixed cut on contact broadhead like G5 or Muzzy-one
Thanks for the review, buy you got an incorrect reading from your Chrono on the 2nd arrow for the VXR28, which kind of throws off the whole top section of your spreadsheet. 👍🏼
Really like this channel. Can you review some Martin bows. I think they have great bows but there is no press on them. Please help get the info and word out!
I tried to buy the VXR but the pro shop I bought from told me I couldn’t order so I ended buying the V3 LH right off the shelf. Still wish I got the VXR but it is what it is
Appreciate the speed test and comparison. What happened with the 450 gr arrows? Is the efficiency just that good to get 15 and 12 fps more where every other weight arrow is within 4 fps?
@@BowHunterPlanet I haven't shot the new Bear redemption yet but I've shot the V3 27 and 31 and I was impressed by it now I got to shoot the redemption to make my final decision
I love my 31.5 VXR, my only gripe is the weight and balance is off to me, feels like the grip needs to come up the riser another 3/4” or so, the top heaviness makes it feel heavier overall than it really is.......is just me? I’m thinking the V3 will be the same, have not shot one yet
Great comparison of these bows. I have the VXR 31.5 and I think I am sticking with it for now.
I will continue to shoot my VXR 31.5 for the next 20 years.
Me too, great bow.

Vxr has less hand shock

Just wondering, did you cut down those vanes on those arrows?
Wow, depending on who's testing V3 vs VXR (same DL and DW) it seems any of them can be faster than the other....

I'm happy with my VXR 31.5
Great video. Love the looks of the recent years of Matthew’s bows. One day I’ll own one.

At a 30 inch draw, V3 or atlas? How much speed will be lost at max poundage with the atlas ?
V3 100%.
The atlas is a great disappointment by Matthews. Incredibly slow bow
Traverse
Shot the V3 27 and blazer vanes hit the Cable guard.
Mine don't not even close
Great review love this stuff
when u say arrow do you mean just the spine or all and all weight
Could you possibly do a video like this with the V3 VS Bear redemption EKO
Possibly early 2021
@@BowHunterPlanet I haven't shot the new Bear redemption yet but I've shot the V3 27 and 31 and I was impressed by it now I got to shoot the redemption to make my final decision
MSRP ON THE VXR28 IS ACTUALLY $100 MORE THAN LAST YEAR
sorry about the caps
Just picked up a pristine used 31.5 VXR. Wow....is all I can say. Im now a Mathews shooter from here on out. Coming from shooting Prime
I’m looking for the same.
Can we get a review on the bear archery inception
What release is being used in this video?
The V3 is $200 more than the VXR28 was last year

I took my grip off and had substantially better groupings and better stability. Gonna try the side plates next or just wrap it with some tennis grip
At 2.25 are all Mathews that loud going into the draw stop? Seemed loud enough to alert a 🦌…?????
Coke vs Pepsi
Idk my halon 32 is a killing machine!
Halon 32 was lil noisey for me
You not to mention the limb pockets and the past parallel pre loaded limbs !
If you’re going to compare bows get your facts straight
Good lord those are all dead quiet
The 27 is the fastest?...say what?!
That makes sense to me. Shorter bows tend to be faster if everything else is equal.
