    Great job, i am building the same plane. I am doing electric motor for mine. I still have a long ways to go and no time to build. Hope to have it ready by summer. Lol. Enjoy your awesome plane. :)

    Those clips look exactly like body clips I use on RC cars. I prefer the big beefy clips for the Traxxas slash. Good luck with the maiden

    Is there any chance u could do a review and build for the hanger 9 x-cub?

    I am just finishing this plane up. Have you had any issues with the bolts for the center section, I am concerned that the cabanes will slide out during flights. Love your channel and appreciate the honesty!

    • @flyingrcdotnet
      @flyingrcdotnet  3 года назад

      I never had any issues with the cabane. I did however make sure those bolts were tight and thread locked.

    Nice video -thanks for sharing! Can You share the weight of the aircraft without engine and radio equipment?

    • @flyingrcdotnet
      @flyingrcdotnet  5 лет назад

      Sorry, didn't weigh the Waco before assembling it.

    Nice video, please tell me you P47 razorback is still alive I see you have upur radial engine in the new home.

      @flyingrcdotnet  6 лет назад +1

      My P47 lives, just now in the hands of an American service member in Germany! I would have loved to keep it but since I pay for all this myself, one has to leave for one to come in!

    If your local hobby shop dose not have them little clips, ACE Hardware has them in all sorts of sizes and they are cheaper then the hobby shops. Like the bi-plane and 3 cylinder engine.👍

    That waco is Nice. You have a lot of planes what do you do with them all. Do you store them or sell them on before you buy another. I have to many in my workshop but cant let go.

    • @flyingrcdotnet
      @flyingrcdotnet  5 лет назад

      I'd love to be able to keep all these planes but to keep the reviews coming I have to sell most of them off to buy the next one. The Waco is going to stay for a while though!

    How’s the covering? Is is that sticky plastic Chinese stuff that punctures when you look at it?

    • @flyingrcdotnet
      @flyingrcdotnet  3 года назад +1

      Never had a problem with the covering. came nice, stayed nice. I didn't try poking it with stuff though...

    Thanks for sharing this. Out of interest what size is the Saito ?

      It's the 60cc version of the Saito

      I have the 84 nd and hoping it will fit . I'll need to check differences in weight.

    • @flyingrcdotnet
      @flyingrcdotnet  6 лет назад

      I did not have to add any weight to my Waco to balance it with the radial. I suspect you will be in that neighborhood with the 84cc version.

    What scale is the plane?

    • @flyingrcdotnet
      @flyingrcdotnet  6 лет назад +1

      It's 91" wing (top), I think that is 1/4-scale or thereabouts

    Is the engine FG-60R3?
    How much is there between the engine valve cover and the cowl?

    Tom, what kind of prop hub is that? I want to put one on my waco/FG60

    • @flyingrcdotnet
      @flyingrcdotnet  2 года назад

      I think that was a spare I took off a 50cc Cub. Nothing fancy about it, just had it sitting there and it fit!
