    how to solve the question:
    Let Es denote the contribution of the surface energy per nucleon in the
    liquid drop model.The ratio Es(Al(z=13,A=27)):Es(Zn(z=30,A=64)) is:

      Since due to surface correction term binding energy is proportional to A to the power 2/3.soratio is (27) to the power /64 to the power 2/3.so result is 9/16

      For this you can follow any general book. Book by Krane is the best. Concepts of Physics by Arthur Beiser also works for basic concepts.

      Suppose we have more nucleons in the finite volume that the nucleus occupies. Then as the number of nucleons increase in order to occupy more energy levels the energy gap between successive energy levels will have to decrease. This implies that delta goes as 1/A.
