Dr. Lipski holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Nutrition, is a Fellow of the American College of Nutrition, a member of Cochrane, and holds two board certifications in clinical nutrition, BCNS & BCHN, plus one in functional medicine. Liz Lipski is best known for her pioneering and open-hearted work in nutrition & digestive health, and as a speaker at professional and consumer events. Liz Lipski recently retired from the positions of Director of Academic Development and full professor for the graduate programs in Clinical Nutrition at the Maryland University of Integrative Health. While there, she conceived, created, and taught in the Doctor of Clinical Nutrition curriculum. She is an educator for the GI Modules at the Institute for Functional Medicine, and the Metabolic Medicine Institute fellowship program. She currently is a special advisor for the Accreditation Council for Professional Nutrition Education and sits on the advisory boards for Algecal and the Autism Hope Alliance. Liz the is author of several books: Digestive Wellness, The Digestion Connection, Digestive Wellness for Children, and Leaky Gut Syndrome, and has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Nutrition in Clinical Practice, Integrative Medicine: A Clinician’s Journal, Alternative and Complementary Medicine. She co-authored the Gastrointestinal chapter for the American Board of Integrative Health and Medicine study guide and has authored textbook chapters for: Integrative and Functional Medical Nutrition Therapy, and Integrative Gastroenterology, first and 2nd editions. She is the founder of Innovative Healing and the Innovative Healing Academy, providing webinar mentoring.
