Years later I am happy and glad they got married. However, I was definitely one of those people upset when JBJ got married. "I'll Be There For You" was the song off of New Jersey that was playing everywhere at the time. I couldn't listen to it for an entire week. All this 16 year old girl could think of was that he didn't wait for me to get grown. 😭🤣❤

Listening to the lyrics of "Livin In Sin" the story he told makes sense. Back then it was frowned upon in the 80's and 90's but now its very very different. Great song by the way, one of my favourites off the New Jersey record 🙂🙂

Getting married is personnel business, not showbiz ! I was 6 when it happen, but I can recall years later when a became a rock fan, I didn't care if the dude was married or not. I was in love with his music, not the guy.
Same I was age 10..bit I still got to meet him and spend time with him, he sang a line of an Elvis song that was playing. I had a great wk end with him and made great memories for me..I know he enjoyed himself too.❤

They were married in 1989 before kids. Jon's referring to not sleeping together in parents/relatives homes for a few years with 2 kids even after marriage.
Jon is looking old, and he's only 61. That's probably a combination of two things: hard living, which is usually part of the rock n roll lifestyle, and putting up with a dimwit for a wife
