- Namaskar to my dear viewers,
I am sharing herewith, my heartfelt tribute to my guide and mentor - my dear Guruji, Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankar Ji who taught me not only the rhythm of music but also a lot about the nuances of life. I still reminisce about his esteemed Monterey Pop performance from 1967 and watch it every now and then on youtube and I was so delighted when he bestowed upon me with his invaluable knowledge of various melodious Raga ‘Pancham Se Gara’ being my very first. He honed me early in age to perform on stage as his disciple in front of him and the respectful and most appreciative audience in 2012.
I feel extremely thankful, privileged and honored to have had the opportunity to learn from one of the finest human beings and musicians the world has ever seen.

I am 26 years old and I came across Panditji's music when I started exploring good music around in 2015-16. I came across this video of Panditji performing in London when all other Western artists sat there listening to him, mesmerized. That moment I felt how strong our music has been, the power to capture and control things just by performing arts.
I thought it is such a sad thing that our music is dying.
But now I see youth taking interest in music, thanks to people like you. I can proudly say our music will never die.
Best of luck to your endeavours. I can only suggest take time to travel around 'real India', explore villages, its people, flora and fauna. These things are sources of inspiration (which I'm sure you know). Bring great delicacy in music back.

These are two very talented people. I love the sitar and the tabla with it's multiple beats is so amazing. No wonder that the Beatles so many years ago found Indian music and Ravi Shankar in particular so fascinating. It truly is!
I was so fortunate to meet panditji at few occasions at the residence of Mr Patnaik in San Diego where I learn odissi and panditji lived close by to their place in Encinitas.
Panditji reached such greatness yet he was so humble 🙏🙏....I have heard him play once at a concert and your performance took me to that fortunate occasion, you played beautifully 👌💐
You are such a wise artist. Anyone might play well but to be so humble and beyond your years is just heart touching. No matter how many times I watch what you say before the video, it moves me to tears. Thank you for sharing this bond and love you have had for your teacher and beloved guru.
