    Though i am part native American, I've always felt such an unexplainable bond with this Indian culture. Now i can see from all the comments, it's not just me who loves it. This music is so beautiful, it just does something to lighten my heart. Wonderful music, wonderful playing

    I saw and photographed Ravi Shankar in concert in Auckland, NZ back in the late 70's. I also photographed many many of the greatest western "stars" during my days working for my paper but this concert ranks by far the greatest and most memorable. RIP Ravi. By me you are missed.

      I saw him in Auckland in the early 60s. Allah Rakka Khan blew my mind. I was able to sit a metre from in the second half.

    man he was tearing it up there at the end. for an old guy he was speed demoning them strings, and happily doing so, looked like his daughter got a little angry and lost a bit a confidence when he let it fly like that.

    This masters family created geniuses that change the history of art and music in India; whether it is, Uday Shankar, Ravi Shankar, Mamta Shankar, Anoushka Shankar or Norah Jones.     Ravi Shankar was the first LP I ever bought. Child of the 60's. There was some great music about. But he blasted all that stuff to zero. Ravi.

    Хочу посветить вас в это знание, зачем украшали замысловатыми узорами храмы в прошлом.
    Те люди, которые искусно выстраивали целые храмовые ансамбли в свое время, являлись большими мастерами своего дела. В орнаментах и узорах заложена божественная музыка, которую воспринимали адепты, которые приходили к этим храмам. Так как у них был развит «третий глаз» и подсознание. В свое время это была целая культура и такой образ жизни который дошел до наших дней. Сейчас не каждый может считывать эту музыку с сооружений. У каждого храма своя особая божественная неповторимая музыка. По нашим меркам это все равно, что сходить на современный рок концерт. Индийский музыкальный инструмент "Сатир" раскроет любой Дух и Душу. Недаром этот инструмент существует, он может открыть наш Дух. И напомнит нам, как звучит божественная музыка этих удивительных храмов. Я хочу, что бы вы тоже заочно восприняли и познали эту музыку. Не на сто процентов, но что- то около этого.
    Так звучат храмы Индии. Попробуйте, глядя на храмы Индии найти отклик в своем Духе этой музыки. Намосте всем и хорошего дня!
