im trying to get the mesh to warp up and down depending on the balls Position on the z axis ... but i cannot for the life of me figure out what kinda vector math i'd have to do to achieve that. Would love to know if you have an idea.
This is cool; can I ask, could you please tell me how to separate the displacement effects that only influence the area where the icosphere is locate, while the rest of it is just a flat plane? thank you:)
muliply the noise texture with the geometry proximity. feed a proxy point to the geometry proximity. this point location will control the proximity of the displacement now.
