When I try your way I had a major problem to conect the both "Trim Curve" like you do. I simply can´t organized my Nodes like you did. When I used "Reroute" than it didnt worke. Any tips for me?
Try x(t) =r1*sin(n1*t) +r2*sin(n2*t), y(t) =r1cos(n1*t) +r2*cos(n2*t).. r1 & r2, n1 & n2 are constants, t increments every step. It makes a spirography kinda model... Lots of fun to play with :)
This is brilliant, subscribed! (Please could you display keyboard shortcuts and also the final node setup for each rig, I wasn't able to make mine work, and got lost somehow along the way).
Huh??? Am I the only person that has a hard time following all these crazy nodes? I'm sure if you are used to geometry node, this is a simple setup, but it feels hella complicated to me.
Great tutorial! I just have a question, if we delete part of the mesh in the primitive object, the trim no longer works as supposed to be but it views several segments of lines as one curve and doesn't trim them seperately, any solution?
The tube and ball structure is working, but there is no larger sphere in the centre, and I can't find where it is supposed to come from. Can you tell me what node controls the center sphere?
Hi, in the part about the spiral wave @11:45 , when you use the position node to change the thickness of the curve - for me it just provides a uniform thickness instead of changing it based on the position. What should I check? I followed the part exactly in Blender 3.4.1
I had the same issue, if you play with the multiply node that goes into the third sine node he added, you'll see the issue. It's scaling the mesh based on the size of the sine wave weirdly
I'm using 3.6.4 and my spheres never were behind the tubes. This is what I hate about Blender. Everytime I get in the middle of a project theres always an issue with Nodes being updated from last version. I give up! Screw it!
This is just what I need! Thank you! But I have a problem... when I try to do the command at 1:21 it connects to a viewer node but nothing happens to the shape, and if I do everything else it doesn't seem to affect it What is the cause of that? :(
Hi, thanks for commenting! That sounds like a weird issue indeed, maybe the viewer node isn't/wasn't turned on? The viewer node is turned on when the top bar of the node is dark red / brown. If it's not red but gray, click the little eye icon on the top right of the node. Of course it also needs input geometry.
Thanks for answering! It looks to me like the node wasn't turned on, but the node didn't have an eye icon so I couldn't do much either. But I already managed to solve the problem, and I don't know if in the correct way but I wondered if the version of blender in which I was working (3.3.1) affected something, and after updating it to the latest version (3.5) seems to have fixed it Thanks for answering and for the amazing tutorial! Now I can finish my project!
That was most certainly the problem, I think. I should've specified which version I used.. but unless mentioned, I use the newest official version at the time of uploading.
Utterly impossible to follow. When I add the bevel to the tubes it goes fubar. I have to keep the viewer selected to see the wireframe, but then I can't really see the bevel.

Really good tutorial with attention to video montage, thanks for sharing this knowledge!
Excellent tutorial
yo bro, question is a bit random, but how is the effekt called of ur writing at 3:31 ? negativ something... how is that done in davinci resolve?
i think that was blending mode or adjustment layer that set to negative
Try x(t) =r1*sin(n1*t) +r2*sin(n2*t), y(t) =r1cos(n1*t) +r2*cos(n2*t).. r1 & r2, n1 & n2 are constants, t increments every step. It makes a spirography kinda model... Lots of fun to play with :)
Feel like I just broke through a huge cloud of animator's block. Thank you my friend!
Very nice and useful. It would be good if you would periodically zoom out all the way so we viewers could get our bearings. Thanks!

definitely enjoyed this. it packs a huge punch in geo nodes. a lot to learn and apply here. thanks for sharing these
not getting rounded ends to tubes at 3:15. Seemingly no effect at all when i move the 'segment' parameter of the Bevel modifier. Thoughts?
Awesome, thank you. It's so cool to see mathematics come to life visually in Blender like this. Exciting to think about what can be done with this.
wow the editing too good!

I feel you bro
And bro is doing them in light speed
You are not alone!
How did you splice the two branches at 11:05? I'm having trouble figuring out what tool you used
Look up "reroute"
Great tutorial!!! Could you post the node set up for the first object...I am missing some connections as object does not turn up as yours?
Thanks!
First time I understand geometry nodes
Net waar ik naar op zoek was. Thx
such a wonderful and interesting video really great thank you! subbed! :)
Thanks!!
Very nice, thank you. Coincidentally, is it possible to use shapes from the math function (regular solids) on the points?
nicely edited video, but will come back to it when i am more informed on how goe nodes work
nicely explained and edited. thanks for doing it, want to see more :)
awesome! :)
Thanks! 😄
Great tutorial! Keep it up, love ur content!
Thanks, I'm glad you like them :)
terrarria new update looks kinda crazy

Thanks! If you want to convert individual edges to curves, you can use the Split Edges node before converting to a curve
@@StrayCreations Thank you so much for the rapid response! This totally saved my day!

The terraria music is killing me 😆
The classic Doskpop modules are hyping me up!

yu are good bro ı am dive in your channel now
Explain geometry nodes like everybody has known it before 😅
I recognize this voice? Do you have a food channel aswell?
Terraria music
Not that easy to understand if you never used geometry nodes.
STOP ZOOMING IN SO MUCH JESUS CHRIST DUDE
You lost me at 41 seconds in.
