This was the 1st of Dan's Bon Jovi covers I heard & it's still my favorite one. I had the same reaction to it & made a friend listen to it w/ her eyes closed to see what she thought. Both of us were amazed at how close to Jon's voice Dan sounded in this one. He absolutely nailed this cover. This is one cover that I play quite often.

I think Bon Jovi was the same age when he recorded this song as Dan is recording this song. There's a video of them combined and it's amazing. Yes they sound very much alike. Dan is the song no matter what he sings ,also his eyes is singing with him. You can see the words in his eyes.
