I bought this mod with the extra magnets. Even with the extra magnets the resistance added felt like roughly 20% more compared to stock. Barely noticeable. I must say I was a little disappointed. It did improve the feeling of "engaging" into gear though. Also I would suggest taking the whole shifter apart for this installation.
