One of the better vlogs I’ve seen, thank you for the calm steady speaking and clearly stating the vendors. I was not as organized as you and I only had part of day 1 so I missed a lot. I also had my fiancé with me and I didn’t want him to feel like he was just following me around so I didn’t press ahead if I could tell he was interested in something that caught his eye. Nice haul! Mine was much smaller but proud to say filled holes or gaps for me so I felt it was productive and meaningful.

I felt shy to be recording so much with friends I was meeting for the first time but luckily they kept each other entertained while I filmed away 😂 I know what you mean about your partner being a shadow and following along. There is that sense of pressure to make sure they aren’t bored out of their minds haha!

I think I was shopping at Pinky Elephant right as you were lining up to get your numbers for the LittleLu drawings - I wish I had been less overwhelmed by everything so I could have stopped to say hello. amazing!! It was my first pen show! and I wasn't really sure about waiting in all the lines to the stationery companies that you went to. next year I will give it more time. next time I will definitely check out more inks!

I went the second day, most of the the things I was in the hunt for were sold out already. 😅
It was crowded but not as much as I see the first day was.
Next time I will plan ahead better, I like your floor planning idea, may give it a try.

Yes Friday was insane! We kept looking to see how much was being cleared out and I’d say for popular tables it can be expected they sell out the first day.

this was cool to see! I'm super basic and am a fan of just black and blue ink but open to try new in the future. I also don't think I would have contained myself and would have gone over budget 🤣
It’s easy for me to refrain from inks but hard to say no to different nib grinds! I don’t know any of the people I was with that stayed within budget 😆
LOVED seeing your experience with the show!! So many goodies and a lot of fun. You're super woman for getting this up ASAP.

First timer here and was only able to go to 2nd day because of personal schedule. But oh man, I will be planning my next pen show as early as today (lol) I want to do the early access and be there from Day 1-3 hahahaha
It was definitely worth it to do the early access! The first day is definitely where it’s at too in terms of getting what you came for.

Wow, can’t believe this video is already up!!! It was also my first pen show, I’m sad I totally missed you!!! I was only there for Friday, loved how you paced yourself over the three days. And that TRC stamp is perfect to close out your weekend.
I blacked out this weekend so relied on my own video to find out what did I do?! 😂 I’m so sad I missed you too! I saw you were there Friday once the day was done and hoped to see you Saturday but I see now you just went one day!
Oh no! The clam chowder was not as good? 😨 that is one thing i keep thinking about whenever i contemplate returning to SF.
I would try to find a mom and pop shop! Avoid the commercialized tourist trap 😆
I loved watching your tour through SF. I grew up in SF, and watching some of your video clips makes me want to play tourist with my toddler. Alsoooo, i agree. Boudin is whatevs.. I usually always take my visiting friends to Chowder’s which is a chowder spot on Fisherman’s Wharf! So much better than Boudinin my opinion. Hope you consider coming again next year so I can say hi in person :) hehe
We wish we listened to the warning signs to avoid this touristy restaurant 😆 we didn’t know of a chowder bowl alternative!
