    It was so fun going down memory lane with you! I recall the first time I saw all of your lovely fountain pens and your collection with Bebe. Now she’s is all grown up! Miss you and love you tons!!

    Nicely curated collection, I would take them all in an instant and absorb them into my acrylic drawer cases… ;) Did you consider getting a Pilot Custom 743 instead of the 823 ? It is the same size, has the exact same nib on it, but is a cartridge/converter pen - best of all, you can get it with the falcon nib. Just a thought … happy writing ! :)

      Yes I’ve seen the Pilot Custom 743! I’ve considered it but the black body doesn’t excite me. Thought if I had my way with an 823 I’d choose transparent or smoke black 🤭

    I like your pen case. The pens are separated and protected and it looks soft. Do you mind saying where it is from?

      I am absolutely in love with it! It is by Hurlestone based in New Zealand. The item is well priced even with international shipping. I have the 6 pen Wonder Pouch but can fit 10 pens comfortably without any touching! The pouch is constructed with upholstery fabric and lined with velvet

    Great video. I feel like we have similar preferences in ink colors and pens. I love Japanese nibs but have just gotten into Italian too! Maybe you can feel the M400 at a Pen show. Once I got mine I felt like it was smaller than I prefer, but it's SO pretty!

      I will be attending my first pen show this year! I’m excited to finally hold and try some pens in person to either solidify that spot in my wishlist or cross them off to make room for other pens! There are always other pens haha

    I’m so happy that the cafe crème was rereleased on JP select and I was able to snag one in MF. If I would have known that you wanted one I would have let you know. I’m glad that you love your collection as it stands. I was just telling my partner that when you get settled in your home I would send you a big stationery package 😊

      Thank you Ayana! I’ve seen Cafe Crème pass by in MF a few times and I think about it each time. Maybe one day when my wishlist pairs down haha!

    I recently purchased the Pelikan M405 when I found it at a good price on eBay. I was so surprised by how small a pen it is. It writes beautifully but I don’t use it as much as I thought I would because of its size. My Estie’s are the most comfortable pens to write with. I’d love to get a pen that size with that beautiful 21K Sailor MF or M nib. Absolutely, love your collection!

      I’ve tried some Esties and they are a great size! I hope you’re able to add a pro gear to your collection someday 😊

    Hello, may I know what ink is the brown color you are using on your journal? It looks so pretty.

    • @journalwithjas
      @journalwithjas  4 месяца назад +2

      The brown used to write the questions is 3 Oysters - Caramel Macchiato! It really is a perfect caramelly color

    Hello Jasmin! Hope you are doing great today. Can you please let me know the person that you got the café crème pro gear? I would like to know how much it is with them. I have been ripped off paying too much for some pens and now I am waiting and really trying to find the best rates!

    I have a Pilot Falcon in SF and honestly, while the nib is flexible, it’s not a true flex nib. You do get some line variation, of course, but not nearly as much as I was hoping for, and to get that variation you really have to flex the nib a lot (which might end up breaking the nib). I was told to look into vintage nibs if I wanted true flex nibs. Thought I’d share, as I was also under the impression that Pilot Falcon would be “the bomb” in terms of line variation.

      Thank you for this! I do have this high expectation that it’s going to be amazing and this serves as a good reminder that it’s not a true flex nib!

    Hi Jasmin,
    Great collection. Which store on eBay did you purchase the 823 in fine? I am trying to decide between Amber, smoke and clear?

      @journalwithjas  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! I was mistaken, I purchased my Pilot 823 from PenSachi but penpen-avenue on eBay is reputable and I have friends who purchased with them many times.
