It wasn't hard stuff. I remember one question. "What was the molecular weight of C6-H12-O6?" (Glucose) I popped off with the answer instantly. 180.156 roughly. One of them asked, "is that right, to which another responded, "Probably." I then babbled the math for calculating it. They couldn't shut me up. It was probably the worst question they could have picked. I had spent years tutoring nursing chemistry. Glucose is one of the most common chemicals seen in the course.
Not surprised. I usually judge how smart a person is by the degree to which they turn into a complete buffoon after only a few drinks. It's like getting to see what percentage of their total brain power is required just to function in every day life

It's not "kerioki," it's "karaoke." Kah-rah-oh-keh. The "kara" is the same as in "karate." No one calls karate "carry tea," so why can't Americans get at least close with karaoke. Karaoke means "empty orchestra," and karate means "empty hand."
It's "Carry-Oh-Key" in bars because you usually need a few drinks in you to sing in front of a crowd, but you get so drunk they need to "carry" you out and when you wake up you wonder how you got home last night then go "Oh, where are my keys?"
