FYC are a great missing band! What happened to them? I loved their sound. Every song they performed was excellent. I wish they had produced more music.

The clips are from the 1986 film Something Wild, which had one of the best 80s soundtracks ever (in my opinion). However, I'd like to know which cinema the FYC filmed their parts in.

It's a damn fine cover version this. Actually one of the best in the 80's...something far removed from the original Buzzcocks version. Didn't like FYC at all but this track was a gamechanger.

@@missmuffet3874 can't disagree with that. However Roland never looked like he ever suffered the desperation and loneliness implied in the lyrics. Rather like when One Direction mullered Teenage Kicks. They came across as smug rather than skinny losers.
@@dellaanniehughes4533yes Pete Shelley did it good. But Pete wrote the song about falling in love with a male straight friend. So he would have definitely felt all that agony and emotion when he was singing that song. x

That was just his voice, one of the things what made them so big was his unique voice
