i usually put the shin pads in the sock about 1 to 2 inches in and tape it all the way up

For me, tru sox 3.0 are better than other grip socks because the grip pads are so low profile and are easier on the soles of your feet. I know sr4u and other less expensive brands argument but the product is inferior. As for the sock set up, this is exactly how I do my socks as well. Cheers!

What boots are you going to be wearing for the majority of the time? Looking to buy a new pair and debating between tiempos, predators and x’s. Haven’t heard the best reviews about the new predators

I’m really torn between the Tiempo’s, Adipure remake’s and Morelia DNA japan’s.. I know you’ve reviewed the DNA’s. I think I’d be very happy with any of the 3 but I want a comfortable leather upper that still keeps that speed boot sensation. As someone that’s still rocking tech craft vapor 10’s, which one of the 3 do you think I would be best suited to?
Probably the tiempos or the DNAs mate! Both are lightweight and have great leather uppers.
@@NoahCavanaugh thanks for your reply buddy appreciate it. I’d only really looked into the tiempo’s after seeing your review. Previously watched SR4U, Unisport and your review on the DNA’s and the new Adipure’s are kind of the equivalent to my dream boots which are the old adipure SL’s as the new ones have a lightweight soleplate. I’ll go down to my local Nike factory store and try out some Tiempo’s tomorrow and go from there!

can you use electrical tape instead to secure shin pad and do you have any experience with using that?
Sure thing! I used electrical tape a lot several years ago - I use regular shin guard sleeves and other types of tape now 😎

are ankle guards not really worn at all by pros?
Not that I know of, no! Although some pros will tape their ankles for a bit of protection or they'll wear socks with a bit of extra padding on the ankle for that reason!

Because most teams don’t allow you to wear non-team socks!

They’re not wrestling shoes mate! They’re called Vivo Barefoot shoes meant for outdoors and cold weather 🔥

I always wear grip socks mate - the socks I had on for the video were just an example of how to do it!
